Yes, might have been the case when it updated. I thought about a CWDT + Conductivity setup as well. I don't like the idea of going Eldritch Battery cause I lack the experience with EB builds and I just want to play safe at the start of the league.

Talking about the 6L gem setup now, I'm running a tabula until I get lucky enough to link my tinkerskin and my actual links are: Arc + Trap + Cluster Traps + Trap Damage + Cont Destruction + Ele Focus.

I saw a guy doing Shaper with Lightning Pen instead of Ele Focus.

Well, being able to shock constantly should net more damage with Lightning Pen, but I don't know how realiable is shocking with Arc. Seems to me it's not a good idead to trade the consistent huge elemental damage Ele Focus provides. On the other hand, the penetration is a more multiplier, paired with the possibility of shocking the enemies.

On PoB, using Ele Focus give me 30k average hit. With Lightning Pen, I get 26k and if the enemy is shocked, the damage goes up to 40k.

Which setup you think is the best in any situation, for mapping and bossing?

Any penetration is good, but Ele Focus is still a giant spell multiplier and is hard to drop tbh. I tried pen many times on many builds and could not really "feel" the difference.
it's very hard to shock shaper for MORE damage outside Elementalist's beacon of ruin and a lot of shock effectiveness. He has 20 million of HP

I have saved like 4 diferent builds on my POB. Only this one has so big avarage dmg. It has like 2x times bigger dmg than other builds. How is it acquired? Will there be any changes to the passive tree?

I am an optimising geek so i usually spend a lot of time on "non meta" skills and try them on most end-game bosses (without any mirror gear as i am a casual like most players).
I played this build quite successfulyl during 3.1 patch and before traps and Arc were buffed. So when buffs happened this automatically buffed my build as well.
I can also say i finally bought all necessary new trap gems and will get back to the build soon to unleash full guide.

Oh man, i wish i could be faster! Family stuff is killing me. I can't play on weekends so i miss launch days all the time. And playing on working days is rough at the moment with relocating to a new apartment and a lot of family business going on

I know that struggle mate. I've also lot stuff going on... but managed to get lvl 61 with you build (did my best to learn from path of building import :)) and I have to say it's really great experience. I've not bought a single item but I'm still able to advance easily. It's one of my favorite builds now.

Until the full guide is posted I've just been looking at Ziggy's arc trapper profile and copying off that.

You have so much damaged and you are so tanky... this feel stupid.

Im just wondering if there is any lightning trapper doing shaper and uber elder. Would like to know their feedback.
For me, pushing the atlas at T10 with yellow elder, and everything get melted and just facetank every single hit from everything.

Coming again just to share how things are going for me with the build. I reached lvl 87 today and from 84 to this point, I decided to switch Elemental Focus for Lightning Penetration and, despite being skepctical cause I thought I would lose a lot of damage, that change made the build a lot faster for farming and really strong against bosses as well.

The thing is, having any source of cold damage to spells in your setup will allow arc to shatter frozen enemies, which speeds up mapping by a lot, and makes things safer preventing corpse explosions and porcupines.

I noticed shocking enemies is really easy with arc as well, which improves a lot the damage. I'm having an easy time doing maps up to t10 (slowly progressing by myself, refusing to buy maps for now), with incursions and temples. Didn't have one single problem with survivability until now and bare in mind I'm still using a tabula because my tinkerskin refuses to 6L... 500+ fusings in and still nothing :(

As I already mentioned, I went to the templar side of the tree instead of ranger. I got Elementalist, Light of Divinity and Purity of Flesh. From 87 to 92-94 (there's where I usually stop playing a build), I have 2 options.

I can get Sovereingty for 14% reduced mana reservation, so I can pair blasphemy + conductivity setup with wrath, lvl 5 clarity and lvl 3 enlighten, which will give me a lot more damage in a safer way, without the needing to be hit in order to curse (planning to use a CWDT + conductity setup when I get some chromes to mess with my starkonja) or get 3 more jewel sockets in the tree.

Still don't have a clue about which way to go from 87, but I can confirm the build is fast for mapping, strong for bossing and really fun and safe to play :)
