I have noticed that if you switch your weapon when you start taking shimmeron damage it stops damaging you. However if you switch back instantly it starts hurting you again. If you wait a few seconds and switch back it doesn't damage anymore. Maybe we could keep using shimmerons just switch out to another wand set when the damage starts, wait a few seconds for the effect to wear off and switch back to shimmerons.

That way we could have the damage from the shimmerons and when needed switch out for a few seconds to some viable rare wands and switch back again within a few seconds.
