I mean that with it you can have 6 fire golems out + 4 other for full buffs, won't it be better for overall damage even with the dmg debuff on the amu itself? Plus, with this amu golems run around much faster.

It's slightly higher damage in general (huge debuff for more golems out), but you lose a fucktonn of toughness

Primordial chain is more than a small damage buff if you're stacking harmonys.

A perfectly rolled chain is 35% less damage.

Broadly speaking you will have 25% minion damage on the tree, because it scales extremely poorly with so many harmonys.

At 88 I have 10 jewel slots, 11 by 100. One is gone to anima stone, another might go to might, depending on if you think its worth or not.


No neck = base damage of 100%, limit of 7 golems if dual wielding clayshapers.

You get 140% increased damage for elemenancer.
Assume you're using 4 different golem types, leveling 4 flame golems. Each perfectly rolled harmony is therefore worth 80% increased damage. Let's say you're rolling anima+might+9*harmony.

100% * 4 * (1.4 + 7.2 + 0.25) = 3540% damage from golems

If you use 5 golem types, you get

100% * 3 * (1.4 + 9 + 0.25) = 3195% damage

With the neck, you have 10 golems instead of 7.

65% * 7 * (1.4 + 7.2 + 0.25) = 4027%

With the neck and 5 golem types you get

65% * 6 * (1.4 + 9 + 0.25) = 4153%

So the most likely scenario is comparing 4 golem types and 4 flame golems vs 5 golem types and 6 flame golems, where the dps difference is 3540/4153= 15% more damage, and the fact that it is spread over 2 more golems is amazing for clear (they tend to teleport in a staggered fashion).

If you get more jewels or decide not to run with a might, the difference gets higher.
Hey, couple of questions (some might have actually been answered before)- as im not used to playing with minions;

Great damage so far, feels kinda strange though. Being offensively weaker than my minions.

1. Would it be better to sacrifice a Harmony for an Eminence ? (Currently running 10 Harmonies). 5 Flame + the other 4 Golems.

2. I'm using CI, having little bit of trouble with some encounters > Still got like 50% more ES to grab from tree though. Should be at 10k+ in the end. - Would it be worth dropping the Amulet for a spelldamage + ES one? In some encounters I feel like the damage is too low, and in others I feel like im not tanky enough.

3. Flame Golem + Empower + GMP + Spell Echo + Minion Damage + Combustion. If I switch Combustion for Cast While Channeling, it shows a 10k damage increase in PoB ?????

Why wouldn't you be weaker than your minions? It's a minion build.

In fact, thanks to the first golem node on elementalist you're typically much stronger personally than the average summoner. I used arc for actual damage until well into my 60s or so. At its crux this is a summoner build.

Extremely unlikely from a pure dps point of view. It can be nice to give them a little speed and some armor though.

That's a personal call really. If any of your golems are dying your damage will plummet; if a flame golem dies you lose 20% of your damage, if any other golem dies you also lose nearly 20% of your damage.

You don't need to do damage yourself. Your spells are really just for applying elemental equilibrium and possibly a curse by the point you're at.

I have no idea why that would be the case. I can't imagine combustion is worth more than controlled destruction or ele focus though, unless you're not applying EE?

Some more questions, eventhough I got quite far already.
Downed all but U-Elder solo, as it was my very first time actually doing that fight. Golems went crazy, couldnt see anything because of the fireball spam lol.

Dropping the Clayshaper for a 1h with 90+% Minion damage, and cast/attack speed enchant ?
-30% Life
-1 Fire Golem
+90~% Minion Damage
+13~% Minion Cast & Attack Speed

Im using 6 Fire, 1 Ice, 1 Lightning and 1 Stone.
Do all the golems lose 20% damage, because im not using a Chaos Golem? - Worth dropping 1 Fire Golem for it ?

all golems GAIN damage. If you will be using Minion Sceptre your GOLEM damage will increase (for individual golems) but for COMBINED amount of golems it will decrease, because you will have -1 golem.
Assuming i originally planned 4 flame golems, equipping 1 sceptre will increase damage by 17% and decrease by 25%. So eventually you will have -8% damage

I did a redo using Inoculation and removed the various life nodes altered the page to not need any stat fixing with the necklace added the primordial chain and now we have 6 fire golems with 100k vs 5 golems with 110 little less energy shield and a little less tank on each golems maybe its bad i dunno, if so let me know this is my first ever revision to someones build also gained 2 more gems as well. also for whatever it matters you can use a minion hp or even just add a chaos golem to the gloves and then you can focus on getting a max quality and not worry about links at all
