I came back to the game just to play again with my old scion. I experimented a bit with the new tree and this is what i came up with:

That's around 6,5M DPS not counting flasks, quality on gems and close combat support gem (i've enabled fortify instead), bear in mind i have my good old pre-nerf Starforge.
Nevertheless you still can't facetank everything as good as the old days, some T16 maps with nasty mods could cause sudden deaths from nowhere sadly. Also some boss mechanics need to be acknowledged.
Well the damage is there, but it's this glass-cannon vibe which doesn't suit the game very well tho.

But man it's damn funny spinning and killing stuff around, anyway one could take over this tree and try to build something more tanky maybe
