As soon as I seen the fire shield and Shaper boots I Though to use those with flask to counter EA but it never worked very well. Anything that overlapse seemed to bypass the layers of protection.

From what I was trying to counter EA, I had 50% fire to cold from amu +flask + fire shield/kat conversion shield+boots. even added then the 10% avoid proj god power.
I was still 1 shot because even if I was avoiding the first 2 fire proj damage I would get hit by the 200 EA other attacks.Same with fireball.


Granted I was not playing a pathfinder nor a block character but It seems once again to get all the advantages of those avoidance mods you need to stack layers upon layers of other defensives mesures which then make you only able to deal damage if you abuse some other broken things in return for the dps aspect of the build.

So from my humble observations such thing would not work at all if suddenly GGG were to balance pvp .

If something this basic/obvious was a mystery to anyone....then it further cements how suck proof this game is.

that said, only 2 guys are using this strategy that i know. (talismans are rare and expensive too) let me know if you know more than 2. And i've never seen someone using watcher's eye with anger 40% conversion to counter this. Even that wouldn't be a total solution but whatever.
