[3.6] Acid Molten Strike Assassin - Uber Elder-viable Poison Build

hello, please tell me what will be better in dps, exchanging Greater Multiple Projectiles on Vile Toxins. ??
How will DPS really get in?
It's better to have more Projectiles or better use Vile Toxins, which in PoB shows huge differences in dps.

Against a single target, Ancestral call doubles this to 280
"Recently" (last 4 seconds) means this is 1120.
Assume you hit with 75% of balls, this means you'll have 840 poisons recently.

Without the helmet enchantment, GMP will give you 57% more projectiles (damage).
With the enchantment, you'll only get 40% more.

Vile Toxins will give you 49% more poison damage, but GMP also increases your poison duration and life gain by generating more hits.
In my opinion GMP is always better unless you have problems with performance.

It was exclusive to Beestiary league, so you can't obtain it anymore. Of course you'll still have it on your existing character.

Hey there!

Been playing this build as a league starter in incursion, and so far it is amazing! By far my favorite starter build to date!

I've been playing around with using herald of ash but not too sure if i like it or not, due to mana constraints you cant get as many attacks off but i feel like the extra dmg makes up for it. What do you guys think?

A little video of my version of the build in action. (pretty much the same with some minor deviation in talents and gear)

Ash actually barely gives you damage at all because it scales off your weapon's physical damage, which is rather low.
It does nothing to poison unless you use Volkuur's Guidance and the damage increase on the direct hit is only about ... 5%? Depends on the gear you're using.
I'd turn it off if it causes mana issues at all.

On watching the video, the performance actually seemed to increase a lot this patch.
It also helps with survivability because the projectiles fly faster now.

I should point out that for a medium-sized boss like Shaper or Elder, only about 25% of the balls will land in the hitbox. This is based on the spread in the gif in your initial post. So, for "poison on enemy" that should be closer to 280.

That being said, "poisons applied recently" can certainly go over 1100 in heavy abyss/breach packs since one ball can hit multiple monsters in a mob.

I picked up the faster Proj. talent right above oak heart actually, seemed to help a bit. And yeah i mean it performs fine for me i have great internet and a very good GPU so that helps.. But i mean when you one shot packs sometimes the game lags, but most builds do that.

I should mention in the video i am running 1920x1080 with everything on max settings, vsync off, with post processing on.
