Oni-Goroshi in Current League - are You gonna farm it or drop it?

Can 1 char (=the same char) still drop multiple Onis?

Tabula is actually One-For-All, because you have to make sacrifices to use it, and learn to use it well without getting yourself killed. It's also usable by everyone. You also use it until it's no longer feasible to do so, and then pass it on to a successor.

Oni is more like All-For-One, in that it has so many things baked into it it's a pretty niche item, and grabs a lot of powerful things from different places, like level based damage / degen, 6 links that you need to color, high crit rate, stun immunity, physical and fire damage, onslaught, etc. etc. You tend to build with it in mind..and never let it go. Plus, a sadistic voice manipulating you and directing you to suffer for it's own goals.

Oni is definitely one-for-all with it's negative effect on the wielder.

Even with the training, the Quirk still puts intense stress on the user's body (as when Izuku first used it, he broke his right arm and both legs).

That is exactly what "Her Embrace" is all about.



Tabula exhibit more of all-for-one traits.

You don't need to re-color the chest. Whatever gems you socket into it, will give the wearer immerse power.

There isn't any true downside to Tabula except the 0 toughness that it brings.

I did the grind twice and I´ll never do it again.
The item is very nice, but I´ll get brain dmg if I do it again.
All for One , One for All Idc. I rip my characters on HC and then it was all for nothing.

Now that is a good one.

No, just efficiently farm the currency to buy it.

I did the grind last league and found my first Oni after about 8 hours.

I really liked the voice acting and using Oni, I was able to easily advance into high end content, farming currency to fund builds more capable of tacking content better.

All-in-all I was well satisfied grinding for Oni at league start.

For Incursion though, I think I'm going to push for 40/40 as fast as possible - my first character will either be a really fast map clearer or an all-content boss killer.

Having previously played an Oni toon, the voice acting is known to me and isn't of benefit any longer. So I'll be playing something else next league.

Grinded it pre-patch, hurt me bad. Will grind it once again just to test my sanity. And because I'm an SSF player with a Champion starter. Boy those first days will be a joyride... I don't think I'll ever do it again after Incursion though.

Btw while I was possessed by The Sword and chased it like a maniac it was very nice.
It was nice while it lasted. When my character ripped at 87 in SSFHC that had 2 onis equipped it felt really bad.

I´m gonna take this opportunity to tell you that you did a good job on designing this thing.
It´s nice that this sword is in the game and maybe in the future when I´m recovered from the grind,
I might go for the sword again.

KEep designing uniques like this if you like to do it. Bc it sure had a real impact on the game.
