For now I chose to go straight for Ascendant -> Slayer -> Able to path from Duelist start point.. Going Deadeye last.

I recommend Slayer -> Deadeye -> Duelist starting point. You can connect both subtrees with just 4 nodes which you can respec later.

I play this build atm. For more sustainability I use 15% mana reduction shield with wrath, herald of ice and arctic armour.

Also cast on stun + immortal call and enduring cry.

My hp is well over 6.3k

My barrage dps is lack luster atm 50k in h/o (around 1M shaper dps) but that is due to the lack of good jewels mostly and being only lvl 90.

Anyway just wanted to mention those few defensive options.

Phanteon:
- Soul of Tukohama
- Soul of the brine king

Anyway as the price are right now you need around 100ex to make this build use up to half its potential.

Just a question, why not use blood rage? With the overleech from slayer ascendancy we can easily stay full hp even with BR up

Thanks Rupenus and borowik13 for answering my questions - just got another quick one, thoughts on using Wise Oak? Will it stack nicely with the elemental pen on SoL chest? Or is it redundant? I've managed to get all 3 resists perfect same while levelling and using Wise Oak, helped a lot..

it stacks with the chest's pen but you can't get equal resists or make your lightning resistance become higher than fire resistance since the build is using dying sun. you can get almost no benefit from that flask

Much stronger (2-67 light damage) are losted for 50ex+ but cant find anything similar and I feel prices at this point are screwed :/

"Much stronger (2-67 light damage)" that makes big difference. price difference between above average jewel and a good jewel is huge. price difference between a good jewel and a perfect jewel is even wider.

the reason is high rolls occurance chance is low, hitting 3 in a row is like winning a lottery.

your jewel is like 2-3ex i think.

Just wanted to stop by again and say thanks for the effort you put into your Abyssal Wander guides. I ended up choosing this (Scion) variant and really enjoyed it. Got my 36 last night, and got to lvl 93. Felt tankier than wanders I have played before, damage was great too. Didn't try any endgame bosses or guardians yet, was purely using this to map and finish up challenges but might try see how I do against Shaper etc before league ends.

I changed a few things around like using 'grants 22 Herald of ice' and 'assassins mark on hit' rings to free up gem slots, and getting all 3 charge types up using The Green Dream for Frenzy generation, and Endurance charge on kill boots for more tankiness. Got lucky with my first glove enchant being Commandment of Reflection - the decoys help a bit :) Leech enchant on boots also made me feel a bit safer.

Here was my setup if anyone is curious. I think the luckiest craft was my Horror Heart amulet (regaled the WED), pity that whenever I wear it I feel the Bisco's curse of missing out on the extra drops..

How does sustaining mana work? Mana leech? From where?
