for the start of the skill tree, can i instead go for the 5 chaos and phys nodes? instead of the elemental damage nodes

no 2 links to pob's or poe website skill tree matches another, no gear in the links match each other

even socket colors dont match, idk wtf is going on. This build has probably gone through several iterations but its not clear wtf is going on & how to gear the character without reading back & forth for 30 minutes.

for dummies: just read the updated 3.2 version. there's a recommended build (cloak of defiance build, reads "Recommended") and an expensive build (reads "expensive, 30ex++,lvl 90++)

if you want to get further knowledge of how this build works and what mechanics are behind, you should read the full guide. there are a lot of iterations. you can play kaom's, dendrbate, cloak, belly. you can play impresence or effigon. you can play lightpoacher or rat's or devoto's or a good rare. you can play bubonic trail or a good rare. you can play elder rings or thiefs.

if you dont have PoB the first step you should do is to dl PoB. otherwise you wont get this build working. i recommend the cloak version. its the best mix of offense+defence, fairly tanky and matches great with mana/flasks passives for fast clearspeed.

Can we have a leveling tree ? I'm lost, just starting and don't know where to go 1st and what point take at which point. And same for the ascendency, that would be awesome and help a lot, thx ! :)

Thoughts on cold damage? Added cold damage instead of lightning or immolate?
