You're right. I did find some ok ventor's, but I wanted some which would bring my res to a higher level so I can run Devoto/RAt's nest.. btu I guess that's for some other time :)

What do you guys think of helm enchant Lightning Arrow hits another 2 enemies? Is it worth it?

It makes exploding packs easier since every mob can be hit and destroyed more often, though it is by no means necessary. I use +2 barrage since I have access to it and like killing shaper with a MF char :P but the LA hits enemies enchant is good

I've checked OP's character and apparently we want more flat cold damage than lightning damage? Is that correct?

So i just got my rigwald's quiver, i recommend people to change to tornado shot. The damage is a lot more noticeable than with Lightning Arrow, moving from Drillneck with Arrow pierces aditional target.

There is almost no difference between cold, lightning and fire damage since we dont scale any of them specifically so just get as much flat elemental damage as you can, not any specific one.

Also tornado shot should actually be less damage than lightning arrow for clearing packs unless you are referring to singletarget in which case you weren't supposed to use LA for singletarget in the first place, that's the purpose of the barrage setup.

Oh, i was thinking about it because of Windripper's option that frozen enemies kill give quantity, while shocked ones give rarity. But i'll follow your lead.

I tested both, because i bought Rigwald's and with LA the damage was not amazing, didn't feel like the cost of the upgrade was at the same lvl as the new dmg output. And definately not even close to your videos, i wish LA was better to me because i like the skill a lot, and definately more than Tornado Shot, but that's how it is to me.

Did 2 exact delves (same mods) to verify and i personally found that tornado shot gave me more clear speed through mobs and overall more survivability, plus since i have Barrage on 5 links tornado shot feels almost the same in terms of single target damage.

In your videos you have HH and Dying Sun, which i don't have. Maybe with those 2 i'll be able to do better with LA, but for now Tornado Shot is better to me personally.

If I have 1 quantity gem should I swap it for the added cold (on a 5 link) or put it next to herald of ice?

If you guys are looking to try other skills, I would recommend using scourge arrow instead. It hits like a truck and clears the entire screen (especially with herald of ice plugged in). I started off going pure lightning with the tempest before tryig out windripper and now I am loving it.

What tier of maps do you generally farm with this build? I can't get past level 90 due to the fact that if anything even farts near me I explode. Granted I am attempting t12's with a full mf build.



edit: Nvm. I watched a few of your vids and discovered my flasks were all wrong. Seems much easier now.

I would only ever put the IIQ gem in the damage setup if you have a 6link and you are not having any damage issues, so put it in your HoI until you get a 6l
