From what I have seen, one of the frequent tactics being used is to record the assault/rape and then use that as blackmail/shame to control the victim. Sooner or later society will have reached its breaking point.

The endgame of "progressivism" and "human rights": violent criminals are safeguarded more than endangered species and have more rights than normal law-abiding people.

Progressivism is inherently the ideology of the lowest common denominator. In its futile attempt to create "equality", it has to cater to the shittiest possible behavior and human qualities. The lower piece of garbage you are, the more you'll be painted as a victim that needs to be saved by society. And since garbage cannot ever become excellence, excellence has to be destroyed, so that everyone is "equal".

I wonder how do people, who supposedly have the mental capacity to qualify for college, not realize the self-destructive nature of progressivism? Is seeing through this bullshit too easy, so that only highly edumacated intellectuals are blind to it?

I'd hate to live there. I spend about $4500 a month on diesel which is about 3 bucks/gal. Anyway Our whole economy is a derivative of oil. Crops we grow to people getting to work to people like me who operate heavy equipment. As cost raise our economy suffers people get laid off and we can't compete on international stage.

US economy is already shrinking significantly as a percent of world GDP due to the socialist policies over last few decades (over regulation and whatnot) and China and other taking big positions. We can't afford this. China has locked in prices with Russia and Iran. We Don't. It's floating.

Nothing wrong with immigration it's vetting. Manny countries take in liabilities instead of assets. That needs to change. I'm all for immigration though. Free market dictates we must it have to compete. Like I always say those strawberries wont pick themselves and no one will buy them at $40 an hour union labor closed borders would have us paying.

Because the progressivists went for liberal arts first. We're now living in an age where Shakespeare is too white to make the syllabus and the focus is on authors who regardless of their merits were nowhere on our cultural radar twenty years ago. As a result, college graduates are now uneducated in the Enlightenment culture that brought us to where we are now, and instead well-versed in a culture mostly unrelated to the path that brought us here.

A liberal arts education should not be about what a particular observer, however well-intentioned, approves of; it should be about the literature that had impact and shaped cultural history. This is in no way a reflection of the observer; I'm not meaning to imply that all observers should approve of every work that was impactful. However, to have not studied Socrates, Aristotle, the Bible, Shakespeare, Locke, Smith, Nietzsche, and (shudder) Marx is to be uneducated in our cultural history. Like with the removal of statues of Robert E. Lee, it's an attempt to rewrite history according to what we like instead of what happened - or at least what everyone thought was happening at the time, which is more important anyway.

Never before in human history have universities had standards this low for incoming students or taught them so little about the traditions which came before them. Liberal arts education has become divorced from the past and recalibrated to the what those who write the curriculum wish would have happened. It should surprise no one, then, that it's become one big ball of confirmation bias devoid of critical thinking.

The free market doesn't say anything about needing immigration to compete. Cutting labors costs is not the only way to reduce costs, and replacing skilled labor with cheaper unskilled labor usually costs a company more.

Seasonal labor doesn't require immigration. It is covered under completely different laws.

Economic issues aside, immigration can cause other problems when the influx of people is faster than cultural adaptation can take place, as evidenced in Sweden's latest debacle in which they tell women to carry spoons in their underwear to protect themselves...
