Started this build this league and I have to say I've really enjoyed it. I've tried to study the tree and the choices made to get a better understanding of how each of the mechanics interact with one another. I have swapped out Cyclone with BF at times, especially early on due to the mana regen, but soon got over that hump. After playing this with the smooth/fast gameplay it's hard going to another char, just feels so slow on the other ones LOL.

Can you take a quick glance to see what I may need to upgrade next to improve on. I've not been able to get the shield so I grabbed the scepter really cheap for now.

Thanks!

Your main problems right now are accuracy and HP pool, apart from missing the last ascendancy points. Your passive tree is also a little all over the place. Most of your rares are pretty decent, especially the belt is quite good. You're missing a Staunching flask and Warding needs to be on a utility flask, because recovery flasks stop their secondary effect as soon as your pool is full.

Doryani's is a bad choice, you can just get an eva shield with 80+ life and t1 accuracy for like 2c and that would be higher DPS and allow you to use shield charge for movement: http://poe.trade/search/ookiomiteraona

Prioritize finishing uber lab (buy a carry if you have to) and I'd probably just save for lycosidae straight up if I were you since the rest of your gear is pretty okay.

I made some changes to passives and gear in this PoB of your character, you can use it as reference: https://pastebin.com/yAGNsKzf

Thanks for the suggestions Euploid! I'll take a look at that pastebin and try to make those changes. I'm missing the trial for the top right and then i'll try to get that last point. Looking forward to making those changes.

Thanks again!

Hello Guys!

I started with the same idea in Abyss SC and I've been trying different tree's and whatnot.
I've tried VP and non-VP. And after getting to 97, clearing UberAtziri and Shaper with relative ease(probably should've switched to BF over Cyclone), I can tell that with proper manual dodging of mechanincs, the leech without VP is more than enough for all content.
The Elder is a breeze at this point :)
Current goal is getting 1x 80+ Shaped Opal for the Assassin mark on hit + EDWA roll and then multimodding.

It's a very fun and fast build, and it's not too bad on the deeps side either.
I've looked over our trees and they seem more or less identical with some minor differences.
I'll link my profile and a PoB below for those wondering what I've been up to.

GL with your cycloning fellow exiles!

And a big thanks to Euploid for the concept and the help with a updated guide that I can peek into whenever I need inspiration!

Thanks for the comment, happy to see someone else take the build to such a high level. Normal leech being enough in your tests agrees with my results, which is good to hear.

Don't know if you're looking for feedback on your own character but I'm an optimization junkie so I messed with your PoB a bit and this is the result: https://pastebin.com/XyVXVnSQ

The way you've pathed in the Shadow area spends 1 more skill point than is necessary. The tree I'm suggesting gets a bit more str and int through mainline pathing and gets 12% additonal inc life. I specced out of Primal Spirit and into Heart of Oak, which does take you below the int threshold you need but if you switch to Tombfist you can get the int you need on abyss jewel(s) there along with intimidate which is 10% more DPS. You're overcapped on all resists anyway and have a warding flask so imo you can safely switch out those rare gloves.

Again, super happy to see someone else take the build this far into endgame, thanks for commenting.
Feel like I've taken this build pretty far pushing around 1mill dps, just one thing would you prefer ele weakness or assasins mark. I know ele is technically higher but yeah idk just seeing how people feel

I don't really see the point of using elemental weakness unless you have an ele weakness on hit corruption or something with a blue dream or something else to generate power charges. Ele weakness doesn't really do much vs bosses and normal enemies get oneshot by crits anyway. I prefer power charges and mana on kill.

I guess if you were doing Uber Atziri maybe ele weakness is better than AM because the trash mobs are so tanky but I think I'd just prefer enfeeble there anyway.

Hello, I've been following your guide on the new league, but I run into mana issues with wrath and hoi enabled (61 mana after reserved and cyclone uses 45 mana). Without Wrath and just HOI, I don't have any mana issues. Mana is fine if there is a huge mob, but if not I have to wait a few seconds or use mana pot. Can you take a look at my gear and tree to see what I can do? Thanks

Also does my foil work for this build?

Hello!

Took a look at your suggestion, made some changes.
I'll look into buying the Tombfist gloves. Hadn't really considered them a option, so thanks for that!

I'll stick with Primal Spirit over Heart of Oak. Lets me cyclone without thinking a bit more due to increased mana pool - and I can be more reckless with flasks ^^
Thanks for looking and seeing stuff that I haven't seen, managed to get 5.7k HP which is 200~ more than with my old tree!

Your foil is fine but the reason you have so little mana is that you've linked Wrath to Empower without a leveled Enlighten. Empower, Enlighten and Enhance are a special class of support gems that only have 3 levels and all of them have no effect at level 1.

So since Empower still has a mana multiplier even when it has no effect you are reserving extra mana but since your enlighten is just level 1 there's no mana reservation reduction to counteract it.
Hey so this might be a pretty dumb question but when I kill monsters, I dont get that same icey shatter effect that you do in the gif youve got at the top page. I can hear monsters shatter and die but I dont get the cool ice going around after they die.

Did I do something wrong with my build?

Okay, I moved empower to a off gem slot to level instead and it fixed the mana issues. Thanks for your help.
