"Blood Chieftain" spectres probably dont cast Frenzy, im not sure.
Just get "Carnage Chieftain" ones.

This is absolutely correct. Blood Chieftains are useless. So just a warning for other ppl: be sure to raise correct monkeys.

* Carnage Chieftain (A2 The Old Fields) = Frenzy charges
* Host Chieftain (A6 The Southern Forest) = Power charges

Now I have to test how well only one monkey can keep up his corresponding charges.
Just cleared Uber Elder for the first time with this! Made a few tweaks here and there as the other players suggested and they worked pretty well.

Would like to thank the owner of the guide and everyone who contributed by suggesting alternative ways to go about stuff. :D

This is my first necro build so i am not fully up on how exactly pets work, sorry if this is a repeat question.

in order to get the 2 Carnage Chieftains you pick up a low level one from act 2 and that adds the corpse to your desecrate pool. However i was having a hard time pulling that particular corpse out of the pile, eventually i got it and have 2 of them. I noticed when i was in the mine camp & use desecrate it only gives me the corpses of my specters making it a lot easier to res the 2 i want.

My question is since the mine camp has no specific level, what level are the corpses you create in that zone? do they scale to your level? the gem level of desecrate? the level of your current specter? the low level of the original? or is a non explicit zone considered to be level 1?

Use "enable corpse targeting" key. Check settings under "input". Then you can select corpses easily. And as you can see, the hitbox is a bit wonky.

Mine encampment's monster level is 34, so don't raise spectres there. The corpse you're raising is capped to zone level and Desecrates stats (creates corpses up to level X), whichever is smaller. So you want to use low level Desecrate for CWDT setup and high level Desecrate when you raise your spectres (in high level area).

I was wondering is there a gem that can replace summon specter or is it a must in the build, also do we have to use shield charge is there another gem we could use inst of it cause i like to sit back and watch my zombies do the work i dont want to charge in and face tank lol :D

Frenzy charges increased the Zombie damage by around 50%, so you really dont wanna give that up.
I also recommend to use shield charge, because Fortify is a really strong buff you dont wanna miss out on.

hey what do you think about using "united in dream" for this build ?
What do you guys think of ghastly eye mods that give minions chance to put a status on enemies.

Things like "6% chance to blind", shock, taunt. This might be real great defensive/offensive multiplier.

Considering that our minions attack all the time that status is almost everytime on rares and uniques.
