pick another mana leech point, if your dmg not enough to sustain mana.

I'm currently running this build after getting bored of farming labs. Yesterday, a new item was discovered that I think fits in to this build extremely well:


Sorry for the massive image, wanted to show the full range of stats on in. This chestpiece can be obtained by ANYONE! All you have to do is vendor an entire inventory full of unique rings (That's 60 total) and you get this. It was JUST discovered. As you can see, the ranges on this chest are huge, and almost avery single affix on it can vary.

This thing is a divine nightmare! That doesn't mean it's not worth trying for. I got a garbage one, and hit it with 4 divines, ending up with this. Sure, the WED is min roll, which sucks, but here's the thing: The language on "Your maximum resistances are 80%" is exactly as it seems. Minus max resistance does not affect your res cap when you are wearing this chest. You get all stats. you get flat max life. You get rarity. You get crit chance (which this build really hunts for). You get elemental damage which is amazing on a chest. you get flat physical which is amazing on this chest.

The only downside I can see to this chest is the base type. There's no evasion rating, which takes a big chunk out of the defensive capabilities we can get, especially if you're running abyss items in all other slots, like I am. I still think the overall benefit from this chest far outweighs the negative that it has. It's also cheaper to get than a shroud of the lightless. Sure, you don't get that abyss jewel, but look at that fat flat phys, crit, and WED. GL getting that out of an abyss jewel.

You can probably start on 26c. I'm not sure how well a 4link TS setup will do you, but a 4link ashrend is technically a 5 Link, so you could just swap barrage out for TS and have basically a 5 link.

Definitely go for a 330pdps lioneye's glare with at least 18% IAS. A good bit of your damage will come from scaling phys as extra elemental damage.

Signal fires are around 10c right now, a decent corrupted one (none-arrow corruption) shouldn't be too bad.

Use rares as needed, 1 socket abyss gear when you have the res/life to cover it will add to your damage.

Atziri's promise is a must.

Is it even possible to reach the resistance cap without Alira, without DS/TOH and full abyss gear? How much res are you guys reaching?
