That's what I am gonna try. Play mostly Ranger builds and am kind of bored with Ice Shot/Tornado Shot/Lightning Arrow/Barrage.

Was also thinking of trying out the new Power Siphon, but Blast Rain feels really good once you get it going.

I'm trying this build now. Haven't played in a little bit.

All I can say so far at level 20 is that it's good for everything BUT incursions. I can't kill any architects. I've actually died twice in these. Just not enough DPS with split arrow. Disappointing, so far. Blast rain comes at 28 though.

edit: Level 40 now, build is really starting to deliver with a 5 link decent bow :)

64lvl atm at incursion SC.
no problems at all, maybe with resistances but i'm working on it.

lvl 60s now just got a chin sol but leveling is kinda slow if used blast rain only on a 4 link.
From lvl 12-35 ish? before i got the first lab done I use blade vortex.

Well... why do we need those 5 points that gives "Claw damage"(Soul Raker wheel)? It's because of the life leech? If yes, it's really worth spending 5 points just for the leech?

Take "Soul Raker" only if you have a lioneye's fall jewel.
