[3.3] MF Windripper Deadeye | TS and Barrage | PoB Link

Build is great, very nice detail, leveling guide is amazing quality as well!
Currently running the MF version but would like to get a second set for higher mapping/bossing, i was wondering though, you say Acuity saves us some points in tree for life/damage. what points do we save by getting Acuity?
Is it only Vaal pact? or does it open up a new route in the tree?
Would like to know if getting them is actually worth it versus good rare gloves.

regarding helm choice what is your thought on using a Devoto's Devotion? i like the idea of 20 more move speed and also this means no 50% reduced damage if i get hit hard by a boss or anything. also im mostly burial chamber farmer.
I'm just starting to gear this character up (had a lvl 74 unused reset ranger), but I am wondering how exactly we maintain Mana?
Absolutely loving this build! I'm usually a melee player but this league I've had some nice RNG and was able to afford some nice gear. :)

A question: Is adds # to # fire damage on jewels "bad" ? i know windripper profits only from lightning and cold, but does fire damage do something negative?
How "important" is the +2 tornado shot enchant? I purchased a 40% inc tornado shot Lightpoacher for a few exalted and really like that helm, but one with +2 tornado shot is priced around 40 exalt.

Is it worth the cost?

Really enjoying the build coming from a deadeye MF windripper build that would die constantly. Raider feels just about as fast without the major defensive issues.

2 sec tornado just means when ts hit something it will split into 3 arrows instead of 5 - means little more clear. I would rather buy hh and at the end i would get helmet cos hh with speed builds gives alot of random useful stuff which is really cool

Theres a mana leech node you shoudl have taken in the raider leech area, you only need a tiny bit of mana leech to sustain mana.
would devoto helm be ok to use?
Here for the guide writer - as the question comes so many times and people dont really know how the map drop works and how to actually sustain maps when playing a mf build:

Within a map:

-White monsters have a chance to drop a map up to the tier of the current map.

-Blue/yellow mobs have a chance to drop a map up to +1 tier above the current map tier.

-Map bosses have a chance to drop a map up to +2 tier above the current map tier.

-The map that drops from the above rolls has an (atlas completion value)% chance of being a tier higher. If you have beyond 100 completion for the Atlas, you are guaranteed to get a map that is +1 from the rolled tier, and a (atlas completion value-100)% chance of getting a +2.

-If you roll into a tier where you have no unlocked maps, the tier of the dropped map will decrease until it either hits a tier where you have a map unlocked OR hits the +1 tier for the undiscovered map along the path you are on in the Atlas. This would be the way you progress your Atlas (other than buying the undiscovered map or using harbringer orbs).

-Undiscovered maps will only drop +1 from the current tier along the Atlas path you are currently on.

Therefore if you unlock any T14, T15 or T16 you will have a chance to get those maps when receiving a T10-T14 map as a drop

T10 -> from boss can drop 2 level higher and from atlas you can receive up to +2 Tiers making the T10 a T14 map drop T11 -> boss +2 and atlas +1/+2 (+2 resulting in T15 -> decreasing level to T14 if you have not unlocked any T15) or yellow/blue monster +1 and atlast +2 so there are already much combinations that can lead for a T11 to be T14 or higher T12 -> boss +2, boss +2 atlas +1/+2 (resulting in T15/T16 decreasing to T14), most common blue monster +1 and atlas +1 which is a T14 guaranteed and a lot of other combinations from blue monsters T13 -> basically every T13 that would drop is a T14 or higher from even white monsters T14 -> would be T15 or higher therefore getting decreased to a T14 Shaped Vault if it is the only map you got! T15/16 -> decreased to T14 Shaped Vault

So from every map starting at Tier 10 you have the chance to receive a Shaped Vault map and Starting from every Tier 13 map you have a guaranteed Shaped Vault map - BUT ONLY IF YOU HAVE NO OTHER T14, 15 or 16 Map in your atlas unlocked!

Therefore the only answer to the original Question on how to sustain SHaped Vault maps is - do not run any T14, 15 or 16 maps. You can for sure run T14,15,16 maps but then you will have to trade in the maps for the shaped vault version and can not sustain it yourself (ssf not viable) Having T10-T16 map drops being Shaped Vault is also very profitable, because the Shaped Vault Map is very expensive in basically every league, always.

To sum it up: you are unable to receive any T14,15 or 16 map other than T14 Shaped Vault Map from any Map drop from T13 and above which is a lot! ~50% Chance at bosses from T10 maps, 100% from bosses on T11, 50% on T11 maps from yellow/blue monster, 100% on T12 maps from yellow/blue monster, 50% on T12 maps from white monster and 100% on T13 maps from white monster

Pure T14 Shaped Vault Map -> no T14, T15, T16
Highest Profit -> no T14, all T15, all T16 -> T15 and T16 drops can be sold for more than Shaped Vault is worth, therefore 149/157 atlas and a very high chance to get T15 and 16 maps which lead to 1.5-2.5 Shaped Vault Maps, when calculating the sale price
When also running Burial Chambers Shaped -> no T8, no T9, either T10 -> so all >T7 and < T10 maps drop as Shaped Burial Chambers which also is 1c and the drop frequenz of Shaped Burial Chambers is mega high
