Has anybody tested Chain Support vs Mirage Archer as the sixth link for TS yet an can give some insight?
Been playing around with those two for the last couple of days and can't really decide which is better.

And is Point Blank an option for this build?

I didn't test chain and Mirage, but I could imagin mirage giving a decent boost in mapping.

Regarding PointBlank: I'd recommend to take it. I just skilled it yesterday and have the feeling that my clear speed is much faster. Point Blank comes very handy for things like strong boxes, breaches, abyssals, same es bosses of course.
In general i can stay much closer to the mobs and freeze them more frequently (means more MF cause of windripper).

one Question, ur secound Options @skills Herald 6L For STD Players means we can play without Barrage? Is TS good enough for ST DPS, by Boss-fights?

This comes down to what you use the build for. If you are going full MF with QotF and +2 Frenzys Darkray Vectors and other MF Gear (Biscos, 2xVentors, Sadimas Touch) Chain will cause TS to do not enough Damage to farm T12+ efficiently.

Mirage Archer is much better suited and will actually greatly increase clearspeed because the insane movement speed (like +250%) really is great for it. You shoot and for the next 4 seconds while you run around like Speedy Gonzales the Mirage Archer will kill all the white packs and most of the blue mobs, without you stopping.

But your results may be different. I could imagine that without Fork from Rigwalds Quills and the +2 Tornado Shot Projectiles Enchantment, Chain is pretty much needed to clear fast. But if you have those, Mirage Archer all the way imho.

And Point Blank: I don't like it for mapping. I know others say differently, but I register a pretty big drop in clearspeed when I have it. For bossing it is a no brainer, but it works against what we use Tornado Shot for: Huge AOE that actually hits mobs 2 screens away. When I have it I have to stop and shoot much more often to clear packs because mobs at the edge of the screen just take very little damage.

Already a nice setup. Don't use Pierce as a TS support, you have 9 Frenzy Charges, use Ice Bite instead. Pierce does not do much for your clear speed or damage if you have Rigwalds Quills and the +2 projectile enchantment.

The next upgrade would be to get a Stygian Vise with 35%+ Elemental Damage on it. But that might make it harder to balance resistances. Also you are still early in the leveling process, A LOT of damage is missing from the shadow area, life too. This build really starts to come together in the high 80s levels.

Also not sure why you have the +30 str nodes. That is a waste only to get higher level Decoy Totem. Just use a lower level one if you need it at all. The +30 int nodes are fine, you gain a lot of damage from higher level Wrath.

And if you don't plan to get the jewel socket top-right of Duelist there is no reason to path the way you did. Check out how I did it. You gain a lot of life without using more passives. But of course, also one jewel slot less. Your call. Just now you path for the jewel slot but have not actually taken it.

Also, I didn't do the math, but do you have uncapped lightning resist and cold resist exactly balanced? If not, using a lightning damage Vinktars instead of Wise Oak will be a huge damage boost.

And last, the obvious. You are missing a lot of life on all of your gear that can roll it. But that will require currency to improve. But as is, with a few tweaks I suggested you should be able to easily clear T12-14 maps with this setup when you reach level 85.

EDIT: Oh wow. Don't you feel a bit slow? :D Roll 90%+ increased Evasion Rating on your Jade Flask please. You will gain a crazy amount of movespeed for only a few alts.

I am following your guide and would like to know which bow you have to use until you can buy the windripe? I'm using a death's opus 5l I thought substituting it for a Voltaxic Rift would be a good idea or do you have another tip?

Any tips on how to boost damage and defense while leveling? My current setup is getting wrecked, especially against bosses.

Is this build good with just 4-5 ex investment at the start of it? Willing to put more into it as I progress but can that push me through to endgame bosses like shaper/uber atziri and high level maps? Currently using a CA MF build but the DPS is pretty low on that to do end game bosses and very high tier maps.

I don’t think so,I am lvl 59 now I put 10 ex already,more ex to spend when I hit higher lvl.
