Leveled up last night so I went boss hunting.

Shaper - Obviously easy
Temple Uber Atziri - Usually very hard, I did her deathless (I've wiped all portals to her on more tanky characters before)
Uber Elder - Died a few times to lag, but otherwise very easy

I'm running non-crit Disfavor build, I have 6.8k life and tons of range (used as a defensive mechanic). I've focused on movement speed and range, I don't gem swap at all.

Hello, I would like to ask couple questions about the crit version.

1) on PoB, under the jewel with the 'buffs' stats there is:
# impale with watchers eye
119% more damage with hits

My question is, if I dont have the watchers eye, should I remove this stat? or what other %damage i should type in?

2) what about pantheon? what's the best gods to use?

3)

Atm i've this weapon, is it worth to keep it? I've some spare exalted to use in case.

I need some advice, been doing my "own" build until now but I'm thinking on switching over to follow this build.

My question is, will my survivabillity be worse with this build without acrobatics and phase acrobatics?

And what items should I upgrade first when I do switchover? the only item I bought now is the Starforge that I do wanna keep.

Last night was the first time I ever attempted Uber Elder - got him down on the first set - only two deaths. Second set went deathless. And this is with the RT version in the guide - before even converting to crit - so really guys, build does as advertised ;) keep on spinning!

IMO for us if you are using low level CWDT you take Molten shell (it also helps if your gloves/boots have armor, but not a huge deal).

If you opt for a high level CWDT or manual cast you can do steelskin because it scales with gem level, not armor like VMS/MS.

I personally use VMS on a low-mid level CWDT (I have blood rage on it, went a little higher to get a higher attack speed bonus from it). It works great, I have VMS ready to hit when there are a lot of legion mobs or bosses (hit granite flask before hand to get more VMS mitigation).

Just want to say if you're having trouble with defenses, you can move away from devotos and the daresso amulet. My helmet adds 25% effect to fortify, which is pretty big reduction in damage taken, along with 9% additional damage taken by monsters nearby, and isn't too difficult to craft.


Im sitting there facetanking bosses with the RT version and phase shaper/uber elder in 1 second while being very tanky (layered my defenses!)

You do give up some movespeed and aoe, but make up for it with survivability.

First of all, thanks for awesome build! It has been most rewarding and fun season so far!

Just started to craft new axe today. (Sry but dont know how to link it with a phone)
I still have option to craft +2 to support gems or hits cant be evaded. I have read all the comments from season start and now im thinking if i should change to crit version with my new axe (hits cant be evaded) I just wonder how big dps increase it is if you compare to +2 support gems.

Just changing some talents is not so big deal, but if i craft hits can be evaded, theres no turning back :)

I have no problems with survivability, even i have like 4200hp. Just avoid everything and spin circles like ppl sayd. I think my dps is little low tho. All normal mobs die really fast even in t15 maps, but some big fellas takes some more beating.

Atm i have like 100 chaos left and gonna finnish my axe when i get more. Also waiting to get hilloc quality to my axe.

Ps. Any advices about my items/talent would be appreciated! Haha, i know! I hate this too :D

How did you craft the helm? I don't have devotos either, I've got a helm with int, +120 flat life, and 10% physical damage taken as fire. Is it worth crafting something like yours?

I did dense fossil + jagged til I hit fortify and nearby enemies take 9% additional damage, then I do suffixes cant be changed, scour, multimod and add life, armor/life and + range. Up to you really, but I think the additional fortify comes out to an additional 5% damage reduction

also, porcupines barely tickle me. I just spin to win through them and never really go under 80%
