[3.0] Wand’s Guide to Wanding – Comprehensive Overview of Wanders

Just swapped chests as I finally 6Ld this in like 1.4k fusings

And bought a new helm. The barrage tempests are like 70ex so....yeah no lol.

Im lvl 83 now, and only at 4.2k life. I'd be happy at 5k+, that's my only issue. I have to get my jewel passives now though, and some life nodes so hopefully thatll help both HP and DPS. Other than that it's min maxing.
I love pie.

Jewels and levels are the reason your life is so low. You should be able to pull another 800 with a few jewels and level 90.

Qotf for mobility, 6L for damage.
Just curious as to the possibility of making a pure cold wander or would it not be a good idea?
Hi there,

Thank you for the guide, i'm having a lot of fun.

I'm unsure as to what I should upgrade next (other than my jewels obviously!) - if you could take a look at my character that'd be great. I don't know how to link items in a thread, sorry. Charactername is Almightyhest.

Thank you.
I'd go for an attack Vinktar's and some boots with the lightning damage enchant next. Atziri's step is really nice if you don't need the res and there were a ton on the market when I got mine.
Hi, i don't know what should i go for now. I posted some days ago and i bought the helm and the bisco collar.

I think i need a vinktar but i don't think my jewel are that great so i dunno what should i focus on first.

If someone can have a look at my character, it'll be great ! Thanks.
Couple of things.

1) Alira is only situationally better than Kill All. It is almost always better to have the 2 points however. Using your lvl 95 tree, just swap Alira for Crackling Speed. Or even the 16% proj damage and 10% proj damage + attack speed nodes at the start of Ranger. Both of these options are superior to Alira (unless of course you need the resists).

2) To accurately represent the Rhoa buff, just manually edit the chest and add a line that says "15% increased Attack Speed"

3) You lost a lot of credibility in my eyes when you included the "Is the enemy Shocked?" checkbox, though you might be ignorant of the shock changes. That box is still using the 50% shock value from pre-3.0 which is simply unrealistic - I REALLY wish the PoB dev would just axe it for now, but whatevs. If you want to simulate shock damage ACCURATELY, you have to do it by hand. Tempest Binding harbinger pet applies a 20% shock, just multiply your final dps value by 1.2 and call it a day (1.24 if you take the Crackling Speed and Arcing Blows passives).

4) You spent 3 points in the Duelist leech cluster to path to the mana leech. You really shouldn't need more than 1 life leech node, so drop the 2nd and 3rd point and get the single point on the left side of the same cluster OR put one point in the Essence Sap cluster. Congrats on having an extra passive point! =D

5) Wise Oak flask outperforms Atziri's Promise as long as Lightning is your highest resistance. Obviously use Atziri's for certain bosses and general mapping as a source of chaos resistance, but if you are going for max Shaper dps, you should be running Oak.

Sorry if these points have been addressed in previous posts, but at 35 pages long, I wasn't going to sort through all of them - just wanted to bring attention to some potential improvements in the OP.

I'm aware of this, and right under the Bandit section, that is exactly what I say. Depending on gear / setup, 2 passive points is a better option. In my level 95 tree the DPS is only 1.8% more with 2 passive points, but at the cost of 15% all res. But at level 100, Alira outperforms +2 passives since you have a lot less damage nodes left that you can take.

I know this, and it is fair. I haven't had time to update the PoB links and the guide to reflect this. In the end it's not very relevant anyways.

1 passive point for 0.8% life leech is very much worth it in this case. Without flasks up, the leech difference is massive. For some longer fights, your flasks won't be up the entire time, so it is worth 1 point imo.

Wise Oak is almost no difference in DPS vs Atziri's Promise (around 0.9%DPS), but you don't need to worry about resist with Atziri's Promise. The only situation where I would recommend using Wise Oak over Atziri's Promise is if your resists are balanced.
