[3.x - Discontinued for now] Burning Spectres - Torch the Atlas - HC Shaper, Elder, Uber Atziri
How is this build in 3.1 as compared to 3.0?
I'm interested in a tanky boss killer for Elder/Shaper/etc. If you've killed high end bosses with this build in both 3.0 and 3.1 I'd love to read about your thoughts.
Ghastly jewels
- Minions deal additional # to # Fire Damage
- Minions have #% chance to taunt on hit with attacks
- Increased Minion Damage if you've used a minion skill recently
It's nice to drop the first one of those for max life for yourself. :)
Regular jewels:
- Increased Minion Damage
- Minions have +%# change to block
Which nicely leaves room for life for yourself.
Anyone using Mind Over Matter can sub mana for life in most cases.
These are strictly the DPS jewels.
So flat added damage actually work for their totems beam? It's a hit?
No. Strike that from the list. I'm confusing Solar Guardians with Tukohama's Vanguards. :(

When you level a gem to 20, you can sell it and a gem cutter's prism for a level 1 but quality 20 gem. Gem Flipping.
You can't cast stuff from your alternate weapon set. The idea is, you level 2 desecrates at the same time. When they hit 20, you flip one and put it in your alternate weapon to level again, while you continue to use the level 20 quality 0 one in your primary gear.
Gotcha, that makes sense.
Follow-up question then: How do I level desecrate when there's no Dex in the build? Do I just have to stack it on gear? This is making SSF even harder :D

Hey Hank!
It's still awesome for boss kills, as long as you aren't referring to the crazy Necro Aeigis setup we could use in 3.0.
The challenge now is in map clear speed. If you're partying with folks that have the clear speed already, you're fine. Alternatively you can:
- run a mix of TVs / SGs
- run 4 TVs and add in flame golems and primordial jewels for clearspeed
- swap TV spectres for Solar Guards
I've tried the first and third options, and for what I tend to concentrate on, I settled on the last option.

Thanks!
Desecrate at level 20 needs <100 dex, which isn't much of a challenge. Pick up the big dex nodes on the tree and you're probably there.
Scourge claw needs 115... and level 20 Haste needs 165 IIRC. Those are a real challenge!

Always hated summoners in POE, but i kept looking at this build and decided i would finally take the plunge and go full ham at it in 3.1.
It is EXTREMELY Strong, im running the 4TV in helm + 3 FG's In body armour.
Stone golem for taunt on swap but also have taunt in belt gem.
AG is weak even with top notch items and in a +3 ring ultimately not needed.

Okay, thanks! I'll see what I can do without screwing the build up too much.

Here is my setup, about as good as you get.
How much of a difference does the Helm make in terms of clearing maps and bosses compared to just 3 TV 1 Wickerman? I'm considering buying a helm like that if it's a huge boost.

I have never tried wickerman, just went streight into this setup, but it melts t16 boss's nearly at the speeds of doomfletch.

Ok I have 9ex to spend, might as well just try your build :).
