immolate only work with skill that hit, so it would be useless with TV or WM since they apply damage through dot, but with other minion they could work if you can somehow apply burning. you dont need to worry about EE as long as your damage dont get affected, so if its minion gem socket in the helmet, you'll be fine.

Sigh... Again and again... TV and WM have burning damage, it's damage over time, damage over time don't hit, therefore never can be boosted by "added damage to hits", only by "increase damage" modificators.

Also, all summons are different entity, they don't have your EE. Only totems still counting as your skills.
Pretty solid build so far, lvl 95 Running SOlar Guardian atm.
I alter the tree slightly because dex requirement pretty high. Can do any map without any problem

I cant really decide if Necromantic Aegis + Victario shield would be better for Solar guardian set up. Any thoughts ? Currently i'm trying to run without it

Also, i found it that my AG keep dying on T15/14 breach :(

Anyone got a video of an actual T14-15 map clear, not just the boss montage? I want to see how fluid the general clear speed gameplay is.

I mean, TV and wickerman also have normal physical hits which would get the "damage to burning enemies" from the immolate gem don't they? which means that if u have immolate they would hit with phys+fire dmg on the normal attacks and have the percentage burn damage from the gem on the burn skills, like Wickerman RF and scorching ray.

The direct hit damage of TV and WM is negligible compared to the dot. No need to boost it.

You take EE so you can deal elemental damage (lightning orb/arc) to reduce enemy resistances. Your minions profit from the lowered resists but don't apply the debuff themselves.


Edit: Also I just have to comment on how awesome this build is. Level 78, no Uber Lab done, lazy gear (no aura, no convocation, unoptimized), but able to clear T11 Elder. Running TV, Golems and Animate Guardian.

one other thing, im farming shaper now, killed him like 20 times, the freaking animated guardian keeps ending up dead every 3-4 runs, is there a way to keep him alive? using lvl 20 guardian, 20 minion life, 20 minion and totem elemental resistances, +3 to minion gems helm and he still dies..


Also, about the golem build variant, looked an some people's golem builds.. it seems the gems cost at least 500 if not 800 life to equip, also u lose minion damage, minion taunt/blind plus some resistances that u need to make up for on other parts of gear.. are they worth it at bossing (like shaper+guardians or red elder+guardians) or it's just for clearing speed? is that much life lost worth ? (I get that they are fun but im asking about practicality)

first of all thanks for the great build. recently used sg for max clearspeed in yellow and lower red maps, but want to switch to 4 tv soon.
Then again i don't want to become to slow so i think about golems. in this regard i have the following questions:

1.is it better to use a +2 helm with 1 support oder 2 support without the +2 ? (can't afford both soon)
2. like kungfupanda asked: are the golems themselves beneficial in boss fights?
3. does it help to use empower for the ag to not die in boss fights?

I can answer about the +2 helm part, the guardian doesn't rly do dmg he just buffs your specters so u can get a +2 to minion gems and minion life helm (it should be around 20-30 chaos) and put animate guardian, melee splash (which u can switch with fortify at bosses), minion and elemental resistances, and maybe a zombie gem or an empower zombies will proc taunt and blind more often.. BTW ur guardian will still die to shaper or abyssal rares from time to time..
Im using the AG with the setup from the OP with the icetomb body armour.

The problem is, hes dying in boss fights way too much.
Sometimes i notice it straight away, but most of the time he gets nearly oneshotted (mino as expample)

Does someone have a tip, how you can sustain his life even more? Dont use him on hard hitting bosses?
He has around 16k life atm.
