Could you not use Prismweave Rustic Sash or The retch rustic sash with this build? Would think both are very viable options.

He is 100% spot on. They are indeed harder than Shaper. They have a huge life pool and much more difficult to avoid damage on top of shitty map mods. And I can concur that you won't be instagibbing them with 1.5M dps. In fact they go down quite slow, and my gear cost at least 15 exalts. I think this is one of the biggest misconceptions of noobies coming into this thread that they are going to evaporate everything in the game with this build.

Where 90% of people expect doing a tree and buying uniques will get them 2m shaper dps.

Reality check:

Everything is in the rares, which cost 100 ex EACH.

Also, at this point every build becomes random, as you can basically replace main skill and weapon at your choosing and still get the same dps.

I have done all Guardians for the 40/40 Challenge and many runs more and never had serios problems with them. I farmed myself more than 15 shaper sets and even without +2 barr Abyssus i can do them pretty fast. Not always deathless but since i hit the max lvl its no problem to die some times.

Never played such a nice smooth char. Done shaper what i never did before and it was so easy. I only died because i did not know the mechanic. After i did it some times it was like a joke.

Much more fun than the sparkers i played all leagues in past :)

Here my gear so you can see its not as good as the build leaders. And still works out for all the content the game has.




And i still have so many potential to max out this char... i could get some nice rings mine are crap. My amu is also crap. Gloves are just the first hit and i dont craftet more. I think with some exa invest i could easily get more damage but for what? :)

One real big thing i want to mention is that i rushed complete deathless from lvl 86 -> 100!
Without any death... i had some rotas with 3+ ppl death what hurts badly on lvl 97+
The big deal here is our great viability with flasks almost ever up you are almost immortal with this crazy leech.

They have 2x less hp than Shaper. And if you're struggling with map mods you don't need to mod them, or just alt them for good mods.

To "evaporate everything" with this build you need 500 exalts, mirrored gear and legacy items.

No wonder people come to this thread with 20 exalt budget and are surprised when they can't do Guardians when 20 exalt is half the cost of barrage abyssus (which in itself fucks up your physical mitigation).

Hi.

I have somewhat of a noob question.

It's about using Elemental Focus on Barrage, which gets rid of the ailments, freeze ignite and shock.

Elemental Focus - 49% more + 10% inc

Alternatives would be:

Hypothermia - 39% more against chilled which we have since we have ailments and hatred. We lose 10% more and 10% increased damage, but gain access to shock + freeze + ignite.

Increased Crit Damage - we lose 49% more + 10% inc but gain 110 crit multi + access to shock ignite and freeze

Innervate Support - we lose 49% more + 10% inc but gain flat lightning damage and guaranteed shock stacks - could they reach 50% ? + we also have freeze + ignite

Physical to Lightning - I'm too stupid to compute everything for this but i'm guessing it works like hatred who gives us a ton of damage

Maim - We lose 19% more, but we gain 14% inc + access to shock + ignite

Chance to bleed - we lose 20% more but gain tons of flat phys + access to shock + ignite.


Some of the above seem better alternatives as we gain access to shock that would qualify for the loss in "more", and we also have ignite to compensate. Freeze chill and maim would also help survivability.

Are we sure that Ele Focus is the best one in slot?

Okay you're at 1.15M Shaper dmg

Use orb of storm/pcoc on guardians/ shaper

This brings you to 1.24M

You're missing good phys on steel ring and amulet, so put in chance to bleed instead of inc crit

This brings you to 1.41M

You have 16% too much lightning res. If you fix this, then your wise oak will be balanced. Great opportunity here would be replace yoru amulet as it has exactly 16% lightning res on it and shitty phys anyway:

Replace with an ammy like these:

So basically for 30 chaos, and changing a gem you can have about half a million more damage ;D should be good
