This seems like a nice race idea. I have not played much in about 18 months. But I do have an issue, the beta invite levels seem like they are at a point that I could NEVER get in 1 hour for almost every race. It feels unfair to people who are not uber fast at leveling.

It is fair and easy for most of "old players". And for 3.0 beta I would say that GGG wants people who actually know the game and can help with all these changes to balance the game and it seems legit to me. I mean, if i were them i would want people who actually play the game and know what needs to be fixed, what's op, what's shit, that knows game mechanics so they can report buggs so everything works as intended, etc.
Do you see my logic and what i think GGG has in mind too?

"Old" players, you mean people like me who were in the first closed beta? When it was still 2 acts? I am a slow person, my reaction time is TERRIBLE, I have to go slower than most people or I die. There is a reason my highest living Hardcore character is only in the mid 30s.

I don't think I could ever do 20 levels in a hour, even in a group.

Most of the people unnamed18 is describing when you say are who they would want are actually NOT the people they want. The very fastest people, the people who get 1st place in races WANT the OP stuff to stay, they use it, they exploit the simple mechanics, they never report bugs, they WANT bugs.

I have done actual beta testing before this craze of actual fake betas that started about 8 or 9 years ago. It used to be that people who actually tried to do the things the coders did not expect to be done, and reported it, those were the only people who saw a Beta, the public NEVER would see it.
