DPS is kinda low, but hey, u got the chain with it, and it works well coupled with a high dps claw, and it costs 1 alch top

ps : dont mind the links on the yellow one, its not my main FB gem :D

I've always had problems indentifying what makes a weapon good in this game. So far (level 81) I've been skipping the claw nodes and using random decent dps swords (showed bellow) since ToA are out of reach for most of us.
Is this a good option?. I'm doing okay in tier 7 maps (I haven't gotten higher map drops, not too much game time the last couple of days), everything seems to die pretty fucking fast and shatters don't seem to be a problem even when my crit is not high.

But anyways, the main reason I'm posting is because I have no idea what to do weapons wise. Do I go for budget claws and respect?. Do I try to find better swords in my way to 90?, if so, what do I look for in rare weapons? edps, pdps, dps...?

Wasps are a great alternative to Anguish, short of 2 high tier rare claws or Anguish the Wasps will give you some of the highest damage.

How are you keeping full life at all times, as it is ticked in PoB. Otherwise you have a massive dps loss the moment you take a hit using Damage on Full Life.

Also have you considered not using Vaal Pact? With the life gained by each enemy hit by attacks on most of the claws, Vaal Pact is seeing little to no use.
