Sadly all versions of this build will be that way. Its high risk high reward style. it rewards great play.

Yep. I actually like this playstyle, very skilled based.

Meanwhile - my last gear update in League (i'm going to get some goodies in standard which should make my dps around 4.5mil buffed). Going to do a video of shaper in league and also in standard.

i tried some other version of this build, using 400 pdps claws,shield and some fair good steel ring, pathfinder , however the highest dps with all buffed is 300K, so I stop leveling ...

others have posted shaper kills so obviously player's problem.

Also I've noticed that the dps increase from DOFH vs cold pen is about an added 1 million sheet dps. Any opinions on this or has anybody attempted running it? I could see it being great for trash but for bosses it worries me some.

Why did you post this question twice?

If you look at the Path of Building you will see the Ascendency reflects what is said in the guide and not the "115 passive" link

I have a question!

How is the taming prismatic ring in this build?
Could it be used or is an opal with crit more dmg?
other pros/cons?

THis build looks awesome im just starting on it now, so will report back my experience later possibly :)

When you get to higher levels and when your damage is high enough VP is arbitrary to stay alive during boss fights.

I had seen that you had earlier addressed the issue of multistrike causing issues with being in place too long and wanted to make a change so I've personally been toying around in PoB. I dropped MS and added Ele Focus and it's actually a dps increase plus it gives you the ability to swap out bladeflurry for single target dps. unfortunately you lose elemental ailments like freeze and chill, but the dps is insane on this build so it may balance itself out. I'm gonna test this out later when I get home to see what the pros and cons are.

EDIT: So I'm getting 4+ mill shaper dps with the exact same gem setup as frost blades with bladeflurry swapped out.

set up is

FB/BF - Ele DMG - EF - Ruthless - MPD - DoFL

This setup is looking promising
