I'm running a expensive dual strike build and really wanting to keep my daggers, but wanting to do this build can you look over my items tell me if id still do this build strong or requires those uniques

need to claim some +30 int in skills tree and use amutelts that give int and you should be fine

Can you post dps stats. I just want to make sure these drastic changes after 3.0 hit the server are actually worth rechroming and ascendancy points refund.

Hello,started league with your build,now use this items in endgame.Change ToA for better solo target dps and full freeze t1-15 content.
Ez kill shaper,guards,breachlords.Have no problem with clearspeed.

Using FB>multistrike>crit chance>weapon elemental>melee phys>crit dmg.Dont using cold penetration,because have additional res penetration from gloves.And crit dmg have more dps then cold penetration vs shaper.
Also using HoA+HoI+Hatred,because have 90% crit chance,and ele weakness on hit instead HoI+assasin mark(dont work on shaper).

I read a few suggestions in this thread but I am still thinking about my 6L setup:
My biggest questionmark currently is "Inc. Crit". Without the gem i have about 55% crit chance. How much crit chance do I need for it to be effective without wasting too much resources on improving my crit chance? With the crit gem i can reach to ~75% crit chance but path of building is telling me that "inc. crit chance" in a 6L is weaker than the other combinations. I am kinda inexperienced with crit and path of building so I don't really know how accurate the dps counter from path of building is and how crit chance is taken into account for dps.

The 6L setups I am thinking about:

1) FB - WED - MS - Melee Phys - Hypothermia - Cold Pen/Ice bite (depends if the enemy can be chilled)

2) FB - WED - MS - Melee Phys - Hypothermia/Cold Pen (mapping/boss) - Inc Crit

3) FB - WED - MS - Melee Phys - Dmg at full life - Hypothermia/Cold Pen (mapping/boss)


I think 2nd setup has the lowest dps while the 3rd setup has the best. (according to path of building)

I am currently leaning towards the 1st setup because i don't think the 3rd setup is reliable with "dmg at full life". But depending on the need for crit i would lean towards the 2nd setup even if it provides me less dps according to path of building.


TL;DR: How important is crit chance? Is 55% enough or should i go for 75% (with gem) although I get less dps compared to another gem in the link according to path of building.
55% crit chance = 75% effective crit chance
75% crit change = 86% effetive crit chance

I think ultimately I'd like to run GGRRRB.

General Mapping: FB - Hypothermia - WED - Melee Phys - MS - Crit Damage
Guardians/Shaper: FB - Cold Pen - WED - Melee Phys - MS - Ele Focus


During mapping, we chill just about everything, so Hypothermia is a huge damage boost. I want to keep a blue link available for end-game boss switch, so while it's weaker during mapping than other green/red gems, Crit Damage offers the highest DPS boost in that blue slot.

For end-game bosses (Guardians/Shaper/Atziri), none can be frozen. 3.0 changes have allowed for Chill, so Hypothermia should still work, but damage output is higher with Ele Focus and Cold Pen.

With a Diamond Flask my crit chance is about 55%. Using ToA as a weapon, we don't benefit as much from crit chance since we can't freeze on crit. We don't have any other crit-related procs either, so again there's not a ton of benefit to additional crit chance, at least not at the expense of statistically higher damage output.
