How is ssf going for u guys/girls? ^^

Finally got around to doing Uber Lab...

Man... That's 20 minutes of my life I'll never get back...

Doing it as a level 84 RF Scion. Literally the only time I had to pay attention was final fight... Even then it's only because Uber Lab is dumb and decides the best way to make itself noticed it to shove 100000 traps in the same room...

At least that character won't have to worry about it again. Until next league at least...

Not much luck otherwise though...

Forever stuck in T6-7 because no other maps will drop.

Can't craft because none of my Masters will show up (Most are still level 5...)

Getting dumb and pointless Prophecies...

No cool drops for a while...

But hey, I messed around with some gear and managed to fit on a couple of Pyre for some sweet increased burning damage. So I've got that going for me which is nice.

Also, why is Xoph so mean ;_;

best drops in past week or so. Excluding what i am using on my chars.

Peace,

Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes
Bound is a t1 drop so it gets listed in my significant drops, though loot filters tend to ignore it as an important event, i still enjoy it as a drop.

But what peeked my interest most was the newly reworked mutewind pennant shield.

And i got intuitive leap from the "but what is the one?" prophecy :D which was also cool.

I'm actually waiting for snakebite gloves to drop so i can swap to another character that i wanna respec and try some terminus est action with. But yeah, waiting for that one unique drop in SSF is not a healthy habit so i'm just farming fuses atm while keeping my hopes up in the back of my mind.

Peace,

edit :

crafted the bow and made the swap from staff to bow with reargaurd now :)

lucky voirici coloring, did two times "guaranteed 3 blue sockets" and got 3blue/2red off-color \o/

edit2 : the grind is real

Well, I have the stuff to do Atziri or what the name is. Was going to wait until I leveled. But, now that my exp bar is at 0% perhaps I can try to give it a go. 3500hp though so it'll probably be bad.

I'm sorry but are you doing some sort of a "no life on gear" challenge run? In other words your gear is seriously lacking life.

EDIT: Looks like your build is lacking life as well (I usually play HC so I might be biased but 126% seems awfully low for melee even in SC).

After managing to 6L my shavs (decided to 6S6L it because global 773 told me to) in 70 fuse I decided it was a crime not to play a new LL character before the end of the league.

Was going to go LLRF but after running the numbers on PoB it wasn't quite what I was expecting (maybe I was doing it wrong?). So I decided to go for the classic LL skill - ED.

My gear

Fuck me. After playing CI Raider I did not realize how damn spoilt I was by free freeze/chill immunity. Decided to run dream fragments because the constant freeze/chill bullshit was seriously not good for my peace of mind (yes I know you can use a flask but I hate being reliant on flasks for something so important). Using dream fragments meant I couldn't use valyrium because I would be unable to cap my resists without my awesome prismatic ring.

Therefore - I was playing without stun immunity.

For the most part it is okay, I tend to offscreen most things and I can oneshot most bosses (only ran up to T12 atm) with 3-5 wither stacks and one ED whilst surviving on wicked ward. But it is very aggravating. Nothing worse than being interrupted during my Contagion or ED which really messes with my flow. Blew through 250 chance orbs trying to get Eye of Chayula (using that awesome red/blue/green gem recipe with an onyx - thanks anuhart! - to make it easier) but zilch. Probably going to be temporarily benching this character and leveling a couple of ED's on my Raider until I get Chayula.

Anybody got any suggestions to rescue this character?

I'm noticing a theme here. All the sc players have awesome op shizniz and the hc people are running around in builds made of vendor trash. I need to do some serious thinking before next league.

I think because SC has more options of taking risks and fail. I am lvl 88 now for a while because I keep dying trying stupid combinations of league stones and high tier maps. But I keep getting good items as well so not everything is lost while failing.
HC doesn't have this option.

It's not like the RNG is different or something.

I think it's because with the exception of people who are really really good at this, most people in HC spend a lot more time leveling due to rips. At higher levels you can farm a lot more stuff a lot more quickly, with much better potential rewards. If you're constantly just leveling norms to merc then dying in a map a few hours later, you aren't going to end up with much more than a pile of lifesprigs and kaom rings no matter how long you stick at it.

This is true. Look at your progress on the T6+ 3 stone map challenge. This is almost a direct way to measure how many times you've rolled the RNG wheel. If it's very low because of constant rips and having to relevel then of course you will have not found as much - since most loot is found in high tier rare maps where there are many mobs and very high item quantity.

It is not only that. After my switch to softcore, i am pretty much alching every map and go in, the only reason i'd ever chaos a map, would be if the mods are not crazy enough.

You wouldnt believe how much more crap you are getting from running rippy maps. Like, there is no comparison whatsoever.

I have two toons on SC now both at the mid 80ies, and i dont die a whole lot even though my gear is kind of crap. Compared to what i got out of four HC toons in the mid 80ies, my drops were godly.

Just from that, i have no regrets that i switched. (well, except that i have spent time in HC, and my drops are now inevitably tied there..)
