Still playing in SSF Standard, I just played a bit in league so I can earn red master mission each day and bring them back in SSF Standard at the end of the league. League seem OK but really, I can't stand to have to redo everything.
My main toon, a Starforge Cyclone/Impale/Crit was nerfed hard this patch. Even with a legacy Starforge at 864 pdps I'm still doing far less damages than before, I think it's due to the huge Crit Multi global nerfs. I almost never craft, the last one was a 7L Elder Astral Plate when it was still allowed... I have try to craft some Elusive/Tailwind boots for that poor nerfed toon, and it was my first time trying to craft anything Conquerors related. I'm not sure I can make a better one, I have only one Redemeer and one Hunter orb left... I have used two +1 to Monster Level of area watchstones and Gilded Ambush Scarabs to rerolls Strongboxes until at least +1 level shows up. Two Underground Rivers give me three 86+ Two-Toned Boots that way. After that, I have used something like 1000 Alts to get the Tailwinds on junk looted Hunter's boots and the Elusive on the ilvl 86+ Two-Toned Boots influenced by a Redeemer's orb, then l merged them with an Awakener's Orb. I hit nothing I wanted and had to annul one mod to multicraft Life/MS. So I made another pair of boots the same way to still have one if the annul hit a key mod. Same issue happened with the second boots but I get lucky and hit the right mods with both annuls. I wonder if I can do better... but since Harbingers I saved 25 000 Alts and something like a Tailwind/35% MS alone is like 20 000 Alts for 63% success... I think I may keep the Alts for other crafts, as I have broken resists now with the new boots and need to make some new ring and amu... Last edited by popossum on Jul 5, 2020, 2:24:23 PM

** YAWN! ** Getting off the PoE merry-go-round and not playing (I quit early in Delirium league) has been great. As a long time fan of this game me and my Kiwi pet have played each and every league over the years through the good, the bad, and the ugly leagues. Now that there are so many (too many) league mechanics in the core each and every of these mechanics are way watered down so that they are just GGG trying to stretch their game out across more time (play x more hours to get anywhere). So it took me longer than others to come to the realization that casuals attempting to climb the grind mountain every 3 months and falling off or getting stuck (can't climb any higher for many reasons) is always going to be the norm (GGG has to protect their precious few streamer elites and other top players) so no new crumbs are falling down to the casual players any more (nothing new that we can do given our limited time and lack of wanting to delve into PoE higher mathematics) and it's best to stop now before hurting yourself any more.
Until there is something new in the endgame for casuals to get excited about it's the end of the ride. But maybe I should have seen that from day one as GGG probably has PoE mostly right where they want it to be. "You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
