Turns out to be the strongest character I ever made with the new melee rework. Been going on a tear with dual strike and have been lucky with some drops. Recently got my might and influence gem and got lucky with a unique prismatic jewel with chance to double damage 8% with pride aura. Need to get 2 more guardian maps to tackle shaper. Have all memory fragments as well.
After 1300 or so alteration orbs and 2 lucky annul slams I made this. Still looking for an exalt to drop to add critical strike chance and quality mod. Rest of my gear. |

" Wait, I'm confused... What's with the +int on your rings? Is it for Multiple Totems Support? :\ - 0 * - < _ > - * 0 -- 0 * - < _ > - * 0 -- 0 * - < _ > - * 0 -- 0 * - < _ > - * 0- 0 * - <

What I should do with these? Any idea what build these might be good for? (In particular the chaos-damage one.) - 0 * - < _ > - * 0 -- 0 * - < _ > - * 0 -- 0 * - < _ > - * 0 -- 0 * - < _ > - * 0- 0 * - <

" Until you regal it and see what the outcome is there is really nothing that can be done. Have to regal either get a good hit or annul and then keep your chaos damage foil. Really chaos foils can be used for poison crit builds if that interests you... maybe pathfinder or assassin. The lightning one can be used with a bit more variety in any elemental crit attack build: lightning strike, smite etc. ------------------ Update for my characters. Well I tried SST up to about 85. Didn't like it and deleted the character. I made DO occultist just for memes but the life of rares is so much in red maps now that it felt terrible having to drop wither totems and vaal blight just to clear rare mobs in Legion so I pretty much abandonded taht. Working on my last character for the league: Nebuloch Jugg something. |

I think I'll try SSF next league. I just need to kill shaper/uber elder for the first time on trade league. I guess Cyclone will make it easier
any tips for someone starting out on SSF? I'm more of a melee guy and I can't stand minions/traps etc |

" All I can say is that if trade league wears you out (mentally) then you will love SSF. I would say the number 1 piece of advice I can give is relax and enjoy the ride. If you love dropping cool items then SSF is the league for you. It is amazing how much your approach to POE changes when you see items drop and the first question you ask yourself is "How can I use this?" vs "How much can I get for this?" Your perspective changes. If you are a melee boy, then there is no time like the present to get into SSF considering the melee buffs. If cyclone stays relatively unchanged (Chris said they will be making adjustments but they won't be egregious) then starting SSF cyclone slayer would be a great way to get through all of the content in the game (including shaper and uber elder) and farm cool items for your second build. I find that my second build really has quite a bit of diversity in an SSF league as I have a ton of items to play around with. Builds I made this league: Cyclone Slayer Spetral Sheild Throw Deadeye Tornado Shot Deadeye Smite Berserker Death's Oath Occultist All with stuff that I found or crafted myself. I think SSF is super refreshing and less stressful than trade league where you always are worried about "being behind". I hope you do decide to play SSF. It is truly the way the game is meant to be played imo. :) |
