I've found TWO Inpulsa's... I've gone the past few leagues w/o finding any. Can't even afford to 6-link it. One of them is getting corrupted eventually :D |

I got this thing. I don't know if it's rare or anything, I haven't seen one though, and it's pretty OP.

I'll explain: SSF mode is more than just "I found it solo and I found it myself". It means that the gear used in that finding was also found under the same ruleset. You could trade and twink a character to the nines and then claim everything that character found was "found solo and by myself". Maybe you did. Maybe you didn't. We can't say... and no one will believe your claims on face value. In the old D2 SPF days we would call it "tainted". You can't remove it. Once you trade or MP, everything that happens after that would be tainted by that experience.
So get the tag. You can select it at character creation. I'll add: There's nothing special about SSF. It's a different mode of play. It's a club. We're not "better" than standard players. We just know what ruleset we enjoy and also enjoy talking with others who play that way. We get a little bent out of shape sometimes when people try to intrude, but that's normal for any club. Had a rough league start. Started with Zerker but didn't enjoy it as much as I thought. Created a caster to quick farm for my true endgamer... Cyclone Slayer (original I know).
Coming along okay so far: Pretty excited about that steel ring. Can't use it yet cause my char is only 75. Also thinking of linking this and using it with Iron Reflexes to make me near unkillable (if my math is correct). |
