[3.25]g00fy_goober's EleBuzzsaw Deadeye (Easily Clear All Content) *REVAMPED AGAIN*

The new ice bite rework seems preeety good for us. Assuming 8 frenzy charges ice bite will provide us with 189 - 287 cold damage at lvl 20.
Is it possible to somehow work with this build as a starter and slowly boost it up?
I was playing a lot of HoWA ST and i rly like the skill but after ES nerf it might be hard to play HoWA now, so a life version would be great. It would be even better if u can start league iwth it, since it wasn't possible with HoWA ofc.
Btw raider have 7 frenzy charges now,not 8 :) Also what do you think about using this ?

Melee Damage on Full Life Support has been renamed Damage on Full Life Support. At gem level 1 it now grants 30% more Damage while on Full Life for supported Attack skills. It is notably no longer restricted to melee attacks or physical damage specifically. Damage on Full Life Support now grants 1% increased Damage per 1% Quality (was 1% increased Melee Damage per 1%

I think every attack skill who can maintain full life should you it : )

There seems to be a general consensus that a9 or a10 will include a quest to give us +1 to a charge or a skillpoint

While melee phys on full life did work for lifesteal builds. I'm not sure if they worked for lifesteal builds with vaal pact. Normal lifesteal with the slayer ascendancy for example would always keep you topped off, this might be different.
Edit: we don't use blood rage. I'm an idiot.

Also, why are claws clearly the better choice now? Don't they usually have less crit and whatnot?

Or are you talking about removing the lifesteal nodes and instead using the passive lifesteal from the claws to get more nodes for damage/life?

Yes im very interested in this gem as well, I mean its cold damage which is definitely a downside as we use lightning pen and such, but it might be a good gem to REPLACE pen and go with a lightning/cold setup, im not sure. Again depends on how testing and such goes.

Might also be even better if we can squeeze off a frenzy corrupt on a good pair of rare boots. Rocking 9 frenzy charges would be pretty solid for multiple reasons.

Of course! This build works fine as a league starter, I did that myself in 2.6. There is leveling tips and more in original post so feel free to read through it.

They have 7 as of now, but I believe they hinted at or stated that other bandit rewards would be in there. I am pretty sure somewhere in a9 or a10 or earlier if it just was implemented yet, we will get our +1 charge back somewhere. So im hoping that it will still be 8 not 7 :).

As for full life gem it is mostly geared towards things like CI builds. It allows you to get the buff of the gem with 100% uptime (unless your dead :P). We already have enough gems to decide between we don't need another one lol. But simply put, map clearing it would probably be fine 95% of time but for bosses and such it would be a lot less. I don't want a gem that is that flaky.

A lot of people preferred claws over daggers already even in 2.6. For whatever reason they were a lot cheaper then daggers. The base attackspeed/crit is very much the same on a good amount of the claws (obviously you still want to avoid bad base ones, same as swords and daggers).

The main part though is crit got hit very hard along with crit multi in 3.0. Daggers biggest node was adder's touch giving you 60% crit multi, which got cut in half now. I have the full comparisons on the 3.0 changes in build of why we go claws now and what the stat comparisons are, you should give it a read :). Another big thing to note is that since you can grab soul raker it allows you to save yourself 3-4 points on passive tree because you don't have to get the leech nodes.
If we go claws we have to use dual claw or keep the shield.

Keep shield of course. Going dual wield with an attack build is almost always a terrible idea. Most of the hits/dmg/modifiers are all local, so getting a 2nd claw would do almost nothing for you.
Innervate, Added Cold and even Ice Bite instead of lightning Pen seems like it may be better with the new values in PoB. Will be interesting to play with it.

I am definitely wondering if going light/cold would be better now.

Dropping lightning pen + inc crit strikes and then rocking with icebite + innervate may be really good.

Its hard to tell for sure, and hard to calculate exact damage from penetration, but will have to see. PoB may be able to do this more accurately. Hard to tell depending on how many frenzy charges and shit we get though.

*NOTE*

As of now, build is fully up to date!
