Its great that you got some 4 off color gloves, and its great that its gripped base. 16% attack speed is a great roll but life + res and crafted attack speed are still 10x better.

Only have 40 res and 40 some life on them is pretty bad :/

So lets move on to my question.
I have a very hard time staying alive at the moment.
Was running T1 (Blue) Map to start mapping and got "one shoted" immediately after entering an incursion...
Invested about 1 EX into the gear so far.
I know Gem Setup is miles away from being good.
But how to improve on the defense?

I played a Molten Strike build the last two seasons (and its kinda the same in terms of gear and tree) and doesnt feel that squishy.
Do we still belive that spending the extra 4 Points for Phase Acrobatics isnt worth it?

Thanks. Incursions can be super deadly, especially when they got a billion ranged constructs and ele users that annihilate you the second you join an incursion. A lot of them have chaos damage I believe (on the constructs). Also do not forget that all map mods transfer over to the incursion with you, it is part of the map.

Taking a quick look at your character you have almost all of your life nodes still available which you did not take. Tons of them. This also means you did not follow the leveling trees. Thick skin, Herbalism, Written in blood, Blood siphon and all the nodes connected to these are all blank as well as some 5% nodes after some of the other notables.

Your gear is also for a lack of a better word pretty atrocious. You can find much better pieces for literally 1-2c each piece. For example your gloves have 30 life, 10 attack speed and that's it. Take a long look at the gearing section and stat prioritization. Simply getting gloves with like 70+ life and like 60+ total res should cost you a couple chaos and would be 100x better than the pair you are wearing. Don't worry about gripped base and attack speed until you are geared on everything else.

Your belt has 66 life, your gloves have 30, your boots have 57, your rings and amulet don't have any at all.

Without passives on tree and life on any of your gear I would be surprised if you even had 2.5k life atm.

Which lead me out of complete curiosity to look at your character on POB.

Currently you have 2,679 life. The build once complete should have 6k life or more. You are not even half of where you should be and life is like the #1 stat you should look for on all of your gear.

Honestly not very surprising that you are getting one shot with 2600 life in an incursion.

The build is great, but simply put you have a very long way to go still. The good news is, if you are enjoying the build what so ever at this point you should know with proper levels/passives/gear it will get literally over 10x better than it is now.

Stick to it, reread the guide (especially gearing/tree section) and improve little by little. That would be my advice to you.

Im playing a molten strike inquisitor right now. I noticed that i have almost similar gear whats needed for this build and im only 200k dps behind after i patchworked over your pob to mine. I invested like 8ex and cant kill shaper for whatever reason. Thats why i am asking if i can convert my gear on a new char mostly and will have a better experience?

I dont have enough mana to use all the auras, how do i fix this?
