Kaoms roots are great boots, sadly they are not the greatest for any evasion character. The unwavering stance that they grant makes it so you can no longer evade attacks. This is a giant turn off and a huge defensive loss.

I would keep at it. Dps numbers get crazy with every gear piece that you push, every gem level, every gem quality, every jewel. It is only 1 week into the league so things will take time. Same with getting a reaaly good (if that is your thing) like 20 ex claw. Need to farm and save up money.

As for map drops people in my guild and on reddit say these every league. I have never had an issue sustain maps. I save up at least 10 of a tier higher before I do it and I never run out of red tier maps. I chisel EVERY map and alch and never have issues. This isn't blind luck or RNG. I read people complaining EVERY league, and every league I have no issues at all. From here until the end I will never run out of red maps.

As for the red mobs some of them are super tanky and hurt like hell. I would definitely swap slower projectiles in for them as they are tankier than even some of the tankiest bosses. I however am not doing ST this league so have no idea how hard they are. But with dps + 6k life + block + evade + dodge + leech + fortify you should be able to live just fine.

Thanks for your response, and I cant believe that after 3+ year poe and 20+ chars over lvl 90 I didnt catch the NO EVASION with unwavering stance. Seems like I only played armour based chars with these boots, or maybe the damage income was so low over the last years that I didnt feel/see it - :D:D

Got a new claw (app. 340 eDPS) and got some of my gems to 20/20, even got lucky with a 21 Sectral Throw Vaal, but still have only 33k DPS in HO, and I rly dont think two missing WED rolls and 2-3 flat rolls on jewells will double my DPS, but at least it feels a little bit better ATM....

Thanks again for your kind answer, gl and hf

Any protips for uber lab? Traps are pretty tough without regen if there's no target to drain from

It will scale really high when you push it. 21/20 on things like herald and ST gems, level 21 wrath, getting 40% helm enchant, few more levels, little better claw, better EDWA rolls etc, it all adds up and scales very well.

Last league with really easy to get abyss jewels I was at like 68-69k, The normal with regular jewels will be closer to 60k.

Yes, try avoiding traps :)
I must say, I feel like I've shot myself in the foot with this build...

It was fun to level with, dmg wise it felt a bit up and down throughout the progress but now once I started to do maps I find this build very bad?

I got my resist pretty much in order, my hp isnt high since I just got to lvl 71 but doing maps alone is just almost impossible with this build... Bosses and mobs with regen takes VERY long time to kill and the regen requirement to make up for it is insanely high given the low armor...

I feel like I've missed out a warning about "dont do this as a starter build, you need tons of gear to make it work"

But very thorough guide otherwise kudos for that.

On the contrary it is a very viable start build. The only downside now is lyco and the price that it comes with after 3.1 changed the drop rate. Besides that it is very viable.
Nice guide, always liked to play builds and use st as a 4l clear skill but never used it as main. Anyway, is there any reason to you don't use ele focus in 6l and go for added lightning instead? pob gives ele focus more dps so either i'm missing something or you're using the wrong gem.

Edit: Nvm I found it i'm just blind

Even though this has absolutely NOTHING to do with the build or guide...

The simple answer is whatever map you enjoy shaping. Their is no benefit or special drops to a shaped map. Just look at all the maps of that tier and pick the one you enjoy the most to shape.
