Your passives are fine. I mean work on jewel nodes for sure but I usually take them towards the end anyway.

As for labs honestly that is just sad. Level 83 and you haven't even done your merc lab lol. Seriously get your labs done its one giant step in the right direction. Even if you can't do them for w/e reason then pay for a carry. I see them free constantly.

Your gear is also really bad. You have level 19 gems in a 5l (its early this is ok) but you should 6l tabula to 5l belly and nothing in between honestly. Your biggest issue however is that your claw is 136 edps. This is great if you were still in about act 4.

Between that claw, not having lyco, not having 6th link, not having labs, not having EDWA on any of your gear is it really that surprising that your doing 3k dmg?

Honestly you should reread the entire guide, very carefully especially gearing section and stat prioritization.

Thanks for your time, I really appreciate that, being new to the game I'm trying to learn! I did first 3 labs, I'm just missing uber lab (and I chose the osnlaught path as you suggested, I've also read why), I meant I'm missing last 2 ascendancy points not last two steps, sorry I haven't been clear :)

I've actually read the guide thoroughly but I couldn't figure the biggest source of dps. I just replaced the claw with an 250 eDPS one to test and sheet dps is the same, 6L shouldn't affect it as increased critical is bound to the skill so not factored in the value.

What is affecting sheet DPS is flat damage applied to attacks mixed with attack speed and critical chance/multiplier right? It's not that precise as an absolute value but I imagine it can be used to compare to similar specs to evaluate the damage throughput.

So this means that from 3700 to your 67000 is just done by EDWA, flat damage modifiers, attack speed and crit chance/multi? The difference sounded like so much that I thought to be doing something wrong.

hinekora's sight amulet might be easier to get. or you can use the curse poacher's mark.

Check your accuracy too. Though you do have a couple sources. Whats your to hit currently on ST? Lyco helps more than you might think!

Gem quality/levels matter a TON with the added damage of wrath, herald, add light, even gmp/ST with the added attack speed. The extra gem per 6 socket is huge too. Either farm blood aqueducts for tabula cards. Chains that bind, a 6 link card, is dropped in low level ones too, Cage, Pen, and I forget the others. Residence drops the nice dapper prodigy.

You claw has no crit chance which is HUGE for damage.

If you can grab a shield with increased ele damage that will help too. Should be fairly cheap?

A Diamond flask is a nice boost as well. Warding one is great to make you curse immune. Can craft one with alts, look for say chemists and then add warding with beast recipe.

The abyss jewels can be insane too.

What do you think about Malachai's Simula before Rat's Nest? Gives good Lightning Damage and Blood Magic might be good since I'll be lifestealing a lot, and I sometimes run out of mana in boss fights.

You lose like 700 evasion 70%+ crit chance, 10% move speed, 15% attack speed for what? blood magic which we don't want anyway and 20-30% lightning dmg.

I think you need to try reading first.

1.) You coming in here and trying to pretend I act like an elitist who trashes new players is completely rude and unfounded

So I was wondering in your opinion. Do you think Craiceann's carapace is better than belly of the beast? It has nice life and res. And that armor might help against random 1 shots. Just wondering your personal opinion before I decide to buy one.
