So you aren't using ele damage claws, you have around 50% life on the tree, but most of your gear has ZERO hp on it. Don't choose gear just because it's a pretty unique color - rares with life/resists will increase your survivability substantially. How are you doing damage?

first time playing the game so i don't actually know what im doing. Someone gave me the claws and told me to use them when i asked for help i was just following that advice, I haven't been able to find a pair of claws with ele damage and been struggling to find high resist gear with life, i'm also really struggling to get enough intellect to wear any claws which is limiting what jewellery i can use

I would suggest the following:

If you need Intelligence for claws, grab the node Wisdom of the Glade (+30 Int) and Primal Spirit (+20 Str/Int, Increased mana pool and regen). You can respect any node later on, but you will most likely keep the Primal Spirit anyway since you might face mana issues when you 5/6link your ST.

Drop Added Lightning Damage and replace it with Ice Bite, this way you don't get limited by itelligence for leveling your gem. Also, Ice Bite gives you 15% chance of freezing enemies and a chance to grant a Frenzy charge, since you grabbed all 3 Frenzy nodes (you should have waited untill later levels)

Since now you not longer require Int from gear, you can change your boots, ruby ring, gloves and amulet in order to get Life and resistances, doing this will drop your dps but increase your survivality, so look for gear accordingly.

I would also recommend downloading Path of Building, a software that allows you to test anything in your build (items, skills, passives, etc), so you can test a piece of gear before purchasing, this way you'll know how much dps/life/res/etc it will give beforehand. You can even import your character so you don't waste time adding manually every piece of gear and the skill tree.

i update my build to do what you said but im still so squishy and die so quickly if im not leeching. do i just suck?

How important is balancing resists for wise oak? I currently have them balanced so that I get the full effect for each element, but if I was to upgrade some pieces it would be hard to get back, do you think in that case I should just make sure lightning is the highest? (i am using added lightning/lightning pen/wed combo)

Besides that, build is working great. Don't even have point blank yet but single target damage has been plenty up to the t10~ maps i've done.

I did uber lab at level 75, was kind of janky but Izaro died quickly, just took some dodging of his moves, he almost 1 shot me a few times but I got him down first try. Just make sure to whirl away from his slam/sunder/slash or anything big like that. I think I had around 4k hp when I did it

Huhm.

I am getting killed far to often. Versus bosses, (facetank pointblank?) at breaches I been killed far too many times. When I run maps I destroy everything, but suddently - poof oneshotted. It's far to often I die - which is a bit tilting.

Is there something I have missed completely? Item / tree / setup wise?

Maybe, or .. I must suck big time.. but man I die a lot, but is there any huge gaps or anything I can improve to avoid being one-shot? Besides - which I guess is my problem, shitty at being in the best position to do die :D

Fun build, and it feels amazing when I just one shot everything (except when I die... )


... I know I use bisco, but the same thing happens if I use a rare amu..
