I am curious about blade flurry and concentrated effect as well.

And no increase to the Aoe of slayer Headsman.

The goal of this change is to make investing in the size of your area skills to be less rewarding the more you invest, so players don't feel like they need to gather every single point of area radius to reach their character's full potential.


I'm having trouble understanding why this is necessary, and why the result is a net nerf to a subset of mostly melee skills.

If an AoE skill's base radius wasn't increased in the list, then it was nerfed. Firestorm, Vortex, Flameblast, you name it.
the amount of hysteria regarding aoe reduction of reave is hilarious
oh noes you wont be able to literally offscreen shit with a [melee!] skill.

the obsession with aoe reminds me why this game regressed to the state it is now.
In the ascendancies section you didn't mention slayer's headsman at all, is it unchanged like pendulum of destruction?
