February Weekend Event 2: DC Gravicius Kill

To see the available prizes of the current events, go to this page.

The top of each class in each race will be awarded a Demigod's Dominance Body Armour.
10 out of the top 50 players of each race will receive a specific armour set. 30 out of the top 300 players of each race will receive a set of footprints. These winners will be selected through a random draw. This excludes cutthroat races where no microtransactions will be awarded.

The prizes will be awarded after the weekend of races has concluded. We'll be issuing these manually during the work-day.

Standard rules for league events apply. Please click this link if this is your first race event.
A guide has been posted here which covers general aspects and strategies of racing.

You are able to read up information regarding Descent: Champions events here

Active Mods
The following league mods are active during this event:
  • Fixed Seed: All instances of a given area have the same area layout, for all players. Multiple Race Events will regularly have the same seed. That is, the instance area layouts will be same in all the races of a fixed seed set. This includes all Signature events.

Will they fuck up these races again and show the layouts if you did one of these earlier?
all of this seems pretty much like crap for the average person just trying to have fun tbh. i mean if you are a hardcore racer than sure you probably win the prize. if you are everyone else though...sucks to be you. its all wasted time, might as well just go back to playing the normal game.

thats pretty much the point of the race seasons with the "points". even if you aren't the number one racer in the world you can still build up points and maybe get something at least.
GET GUD!

Yeah I completely agree with you, there are a few people that are try hard racers, racing probably from when the races came out and they will keep getting top 1 or some shit meanwhile other players who are new to racing aren't getting anything out of it so the reward system is kind of pointless, I also agree that there should be a possibility for newer players to get something out of racing where maybe if you finish a race you get some points or if you do something in the race you get some points and when you reach a certain point amount you can get some kind of mtx, which would feel rewarding imo.

Getting top 50 for mtx really isnt as hard as you think, just need to devote a little bit of time to learn the strategies of the specific class u wanna play

it is just one box per account, rather of having actual items. pretty much do one race to lvl 10 and you are done. Yawn

That is called fixed seed, where the layout is the same for every dc race so the layouts will be shown if you did the race before.
