Hi I just died on Hc Harbringer and been looking into your build which seems very nice!!!

Is it foir HC? how is the survability? can it to end game maps and bosses in HC?

How does this build compare to Skele mage caster build? more dmg? more survability?

Build is better in farming than doing endgame bosses for HC. Non-boss monsters don't even get to hit you as Temp Chains is so high and defenses are pretty good. Problem is that bosses can hit for huge damage and build has almost no armor so Minotaur and shaper can 1 shot you if you make even single mistake.

However you can add pretty good MF gear on the build and it can clear any map mod with good clear speed if map is open layout.

Haven't played with skele mages myself but if i had to guess they can deal bit more boss damage if you keep the count up and Golems clear much faster as you don't have to spam new ones all the time. For survival id say my build has better defenses as all are pretty much automated and you can just focus on kiting. As said physical damage is the problem as no armor.

Up until now (lvl 85) I have followed your guide religiously, the levelling section was especially useful and the defensive setups are great.

I have no intention of changing links, can't even see how an arctic armour can be slotted in, like it has by some players (guessing...no tempest shield?)
For a while I was thinking in madman terms, to try and fit in a Prism Guardian with another aura or two (there really isn't much issue with chaos damage at the resistances we have) but I like Victario's charity a lot for this build and the link-space just isn't there for now.

Going towards nullification is a great idea and recommendation!

Still only played an evening without mana res. nodes.. but it feels good. I only lost about 100 ES and definitely boosted damage (one extra jewel socket, straight up). I also realised that the curse effectiveness feels useful (on top of being a wow-effect ahaha), not only for temp chains, but it boots our damage as a More multiplier through the Ele weakness curse. This feels important because even if not all enemies are cursed with Ele weak, the bosses always are. So for me I think this is the way to go.
I even went the other way on the Whispers of Doom-wheel now (meaning I have 10% curse effect for two skill points, instead of 1 point doing nothing for us).

And finally, Abberath pantheon feels great vs Harbinger with ES builds. Just tried it!

Great part is that you customize the tree and some of the links for your taste in the end. You can drop "Tempest Shield" and maybe "Increased Duration" from bone offer if you really want to add some movement / utility skills to build. Tree can be changed for more curse effect, jewels, ES, etc.

In Harbinger I have 9.5k Life + ES. I'll be able to reach over 10k with a bit more min-maxing.

Just wanted to put that out there for people who are worried about Energy shield in 3.0.

Yep, surprisingly players are nearing 10k EHP in league also. My original estimate of about 8,5k EHP max in league seems to be wrong, but for good ^^

Having a good time so far, but one question: why are you running whispers? I can only see temp chains as the only curse in this build.

Yes, the Animate Guardian is applying second curse with "Elemental Weakness on hit" gloves equipped to it. Build needs whispers to not over-ride AGs curse with Temp Chains on blasphemy.

so i got myself skin of the loyal, presence of chayula and cheap empower gems. currently has 2.3k hp / 5.7k es. Not sure if i can do shaper with that amount of hp. I have my character profile open so if any pros can give me some advice on gear.

With 8K EHP, if you know the fight you can easily do it ;)

About your gear i recommand you to find a crystal belt to get more ES bonus, buy one already with good stats or buy a white one and use some currencies on it ;)

Usually with that build, people dont need x2 life & 1x mana potion ;)

arent you overcapping all you resistances with that gear ?
in a longer time try to find some prismatic rings minion movement speed / with life or ES

But as i said if you already know shaper fight you can easily do it, just take care of you AG and get it off if you see he is going to die ;)

Belt and rings could really use more ES and life on them. Crystal belt is best for the build, and Prismatic rings offer often best base if you can just find them with other decent mods.

Shaper fight is not very hard if you just know how to kite boss moves. It just needs nerves of steel to systematically focus only on boss and biggest, most dangerous moves.

According to PoB, your golem damage is 40k per with magma ball. Is this accurate?

My Golems do actually 103k dps per Golem. I just released Pob data in guide as it has been requested often. Simply importing my char doens't work as you have to select Elemental Equilibrium and Charges for Golems. Also Ele Weakness from guardian has to be manually applied.

Just a short question: Left of "Harrier" is a jewel slot ... it's not clear if it is better to get 2x increased spell damage or 2x increased attack speed ... i noticed those players here who get those jewel slot ... about 50% uses spell damage, the others uses attack speed.

What is better for the golemancer? I mean: fire golems attack with fire (i think this is a spell) and they hit the enemy, this is an attack? So i think spell damage would be more important?

It doesn't matter since minions don't get either of the stats. Minions are only affected by lines that specially mod minions stats. It applies only to you, and you are not doing spell damage or attacking at all.

All settings should be correct to apply charges for Golems, Elemental Equilibrium for enemies and level 12 Elemental Weakness from Animated Guardians curse.

"Path of Building" is great offline tool that can import characters data if they are public. This tool is only ways to really calculate minions damage as tooltip doesn't show even estimate.

One little critique about the leveling guide. You can ignore the ascendancies and the whole " spectres till 85" idea if you have the currency to play the build immediately. Thank goodness I think for my self or I'd be kinda pissed off to have to spend 20 regret removing Soul Weaver.

I have a question. At any point does it become better to use a Primordial Eminence instead of a Primordial Harmony? At a certain point, will the 20% cast speed plus the increase of golem buff get you more than the 20% damage and the cooldown reduction? I know the increased effect to the golem buff is negligible, but the 1000 armor is probably nice for survivability purposes. Just wondering.

I suppose you have Cast when damage taken in the weapon. Just change gems with shield.
I keep going over the first page over and over and I'm amazed the OP doesn't have Convocation either manual or with CWDT. How can that be feasible?

I'm referring to golems being derpy in corridors or multiple rooms. It's not a "play style" thing, more like...quality of life.
Racing around not being concerned about getting hit is all well and good in lower tier stuff but I just don't see it happening in higher tier /multi mod maps without Convocation.

Good idea with the 3/4 link and ditching tempest shield. I am going to do that :P

Can anyone (honest) tell me what corrupted Rainbowstride's go for? There aren't any in Harbinger. Or...there's one, with no price.

Yep, you probably have cast when damage taken in Clayshaper. CWDT sees the Golem gem hidden inside the item and casts it when you take damage. Switching CWDT from Clayshaper to shield fixes the problem ;)

Hi!

Primordial Eminence is barely ever worth inserting. Frenzy charges already give Golems 45% cast speed and spell echo 70% so increasing even more wont give much benefit.

The regen from Harmonies can be stacked without penalties and keeps Golems alive extremely well, while boosting also damage.

I recommend using rather rare jewels with minion damage and other useful stats as ES, HP and resistances for yourself if you already have 2x rares with minion ele resistance lines. Mixing rares and harmonies so that Golems and you both don't die is the best balance.

The Temporal Chains is so effective that non-boss mobs are no threat. That's why I usually just run straight into room full of enemies, run straight through pack and Golems teleport after me and kill all mobs. It sounds risky but you can see from my breach videos that's its actually very safe.

You can put low level Convocation on cwdt links instead of Tempest Shield and let it trigger when you take damage. Or you can put high level Convocation on same spot and it will be manual cast as CWDT cant trigger so high level gem.
