Yeah I wondered that but then the trouble is it's proccing all the time like you said but only for a fraction of a second which isn't that useful surely? I just assumed it's only really useful when you have some endurance charges so it lasts a few seconds. But then you're having to spam enduring cry all the damn time which can get tedious :P

Well actually i don't really notice that detailed :) but as far as i know if the levels of stones gets higher it will trigger under more damage which might be too late to save you .

I am also very lazy when i play , i never use other skills , cyclone + warchief , others just pretty icons for me :)

hi, im new to this build and i have some questions, what are the differences or advantages to gem setup from ignite vs pure damage version, and primeval force vs avatar there are much difference between the two nodes damage wise?

IIRC for avatar, having the amulet saves you something like 8 skill nodes which can be allocated for more damage, life, etc.

A rare ring with high life roll to replace your Le Heup.

Boots can have higher life roll too.

Enfeeble curse will go a long way in HC gameplay so if you are not running that, you can look into it.

Soul of Yugul is also great for handling single elemental reflect mob too.

Your gears are good. You can upgrade Spirit Turn ring.

Otherwise, getting more levels will be the next thing you can aim for.

I see that you have a point in dex node next to Art of Gladiator. You can refund that and invest into a 5% life node instead.

I assume the 7.21 is Cyclone APS cos that is what that will proc Molten Burst. In terms of damage calculation, I do not know if the formula is accurate but I would calculate it that way too.

And yes, you add Molten Burst damage on top of Cyclone to obtain the total damage.

Your gems are not 20/20 yet so that is a lot of missing damage there.

The rings and helm enchant also makes a difference to damage.

Not to forget character level.

You do not benefit from physical reflect reduction because with Avatar of Fire, you deal 100% fire damage. You will only benefit from elemental reflect reduction. So in short, you just need to wear 1 x Sibyl in the left ring slot.

You will be killing things really fast so that split second immunity is sufficient for mapping.

Ignite is better for clearing mobs and pure damage is better for boss fights.

Avatar of Fire provide at least 25% more damage whereas Primeval Force is just a small fraction of it.

Covered in Ash from Xoph's Blood also gives you more damage. :)

You are not using the proper flask setup. Check out the flasks section as flasks are very important for the build.

Recommended Rares section list the stats that you want to aim for on those rare slots so when you are sourcing for gears, check that out.

Basically you want high life rolls on all rare slots so that you can push your life pool over 6000 when you are at level 90.

Curious what I should look to upgrade next?
I've been trying to find good gloves/belt but I'm having a bit of trouble with that currently so it's slow going.

I've also got a Bronn's Lithe I'm working on but the 5L has wrong colors and is not going to be easy to recolor so I'm going the vorici color path and have 4 offcolors so far but that's not going to be available to me 'soon'.

Empire's Grasp is working really well with Lion's Roar for Cyclone for general stuff, and the Armour is making it hard for me to find a good replacement rare for it unfortunately.

Also just curious what are your thoughts on Gripped Gloves instead of Titan Gloves?

I changed my items on your advice . can you check again ?

Made this character last week as a lab farming character. Never intended to take it past lvl 85,
but it has been really fun. The jewellery were all 2-3 chaos which I bought just to make resistances capped and get a bit of hp. (The Headhunter was transferred over from another character).

I was surprised at how well this character performed. Decided to do guardians at level 87 and got them all done deathless. Attempted to do shaper today at lvl 90 and went up till the last phase deathless, but then i got cocky and screwed up. Let too many ice vortexes spawn up and ended up ripping 5 times. (Absolutely my fault, it should have been a deathless run for sure if I hadn't been stupid). Tried shaper with level 19 gems and an empty jewel slot. So, next plan is to insert a jewel, level up 2 more levels and insert 1 more jewel, kill shaper and then attempt uber atziri as well. Maybe I could upgrade my gloves and jewellery from the 2-3c junk I'm running as well. Anyway, Good build, thanks for sharing.

P.S - Lab farming was a breeze. (Started doing it at Level 78).



Edit: Just noticed I am missing three points from quests. Wow, I really haven't paid much attention to the character. Can't believe I was almost able to bring shaper down in this state.

any pointers on how i can stop getting one shot? I feel like i'm doing something drastically wrong. Running 12-16's and will randomly fall over dead (not reflect) from mobs.
