I'm trying to understand the way GGG are thinking - "BV Pathfinder is OP - hey, let's nerf all flasks recharge and let's total nerf Blade Vordex!"

Do you ever noticed, that other classes played BV also? Now it will be skill ONLY for Pathfinders.

I don't even want to mention how ridiculously exponsive will ES items be. And even when you will want to play with Armour/HP character - guess what: nobody will even picks armour items from the ground :/
Why nerf Cospri's Malice?Cospri's Malice builds were so expensive and it was really good feeling when you spend a lot of time and money(ex) to build them...

Flask system does not need nerfing ,Pathfinder does not need nerfing,BV does not need nerfing(btw BV buffed gi gi),BV is not op op,only one item is op op Vessel of Vinktar - legacy Vessel of Vinktar where in same point of time legacy Vessel of Vinktar is just absurd.

You have right!

Great option will be to increase life on all high tier items, or even better idea will be to create another affix " % MORE LIFE " in items. To get pef roll you will need for example +100 HP and +3% or 4% More life. It will be hard but not imposible to collect all set with that two mods.

The actual nerf is that on flasks and on the way the skill works. Now BV is back to stack 50 casts which means duration nodes / gems and more time to clear the map. Also the OP PF flask sustainance has been significantly reduced, so Taste of Hate, Rumi's, Vessel of Vinktar, that sweet combo is not that available throug the entire bossfights anymore.

I believe it's a fair way to nerf that but don't think the limitation to recharge only one flask is that good, cause that really hurt a flask combo and anyone using surgeon flasks that were not Pathfinders. Also, with this PF remains strong since the node which grants immunity to elemental effects allows the use of Vinktar by itself, without the need of a grounding flask, which means that you won't split the charges generated by crits with other flasks. And other classes can't recover Vinktar's with crits so...yeah, it's a nerf for PF but it hurts other classes much more. I believe that flasks really need a rework at this point. Maybe on 3.0.


BV was basically sitting infront of shaper spamming flasks and ignoring most/all mechanics of bosses in the game. If I was making a game I wouldn't be happy if players find a way to oneshot content. It was fun while it lasted.

Exactly. A long time I talk about this. Don't NERF ES, but LIFE NEED BUFFS!!!

Hmm - removing another one of those easy mapMods I was comfortable with. I wonder what makes monster charges so challenging on performance - a change in stats, a timer, a little orbiting particle- what do i miss, where is the hardware killer in that??
