I love Blood Rage but all my builds using it have enough regen for it. your build does not and this stresses me a bit ;P

Thx for the hint with the new helmet but how does it solve the Curse/Onslaught Problem?

It is pretty expensive too. im still missing a 6L QotF, a nicer Wand, Dying, Attack Vinktars, ele on hit Gloves, +2 Barrage ench., aaand lightning boot enchant. now this helmet adds another 330 chaos. great ;p

Dont we run spell damage on wand anymore as a craft?
or as a Prefix in general.

Would would be the best 5 stats to have when you craft?

I would go with:
t1 flat lightning damage
t1 flat cold/fire damage
Multimod
Attack speed
Crit Chance
Elemental Damage with weapons (might have got the name wrong)

I am actually debating re crafting my wand on standard from Spell Damage % to that last mod above.

Reasoning is we don't use Crown of Eyes anymore. I don't know if this is still viable. It probably is but the build invests a lot of its defenses into evasion, so Rat's Nest/Starkonja's Head makes more sense.

I am using a Piscator's up to t13 no problem. Don't have t14s yet.

However, I feel the "correct" answer to your question is "Whenever you can afford the upgrade"

For reference, on Standard I am running a 250 ele dps Imbued wand
(linked for reference)


Note that my Spell Damage % mod needs to be changed to Elemental Damage with Weapons. That will yield another couple thousand effective total dps on Path of Building.

The idea is to get frenzy charges without running blood rage (as requested)
With the dmg. Boost from the helmet you should get more flat Lightning and Cold to help you Shocking and Freezing Mobs which will trigger herald of ice better.
About the cost of the Helm . Pretty sure it will drop soon.
And despite all that it's still better to run the original setup. You will get used to blood rage.
