Possibly a stupid question, but why use Herald of Ice over Thunder? More lightning damage = bigger shocks and it will curse with Assassin's mark way more often than HoI...?

so it seems like the vessel of vinktar flask is different or now nerfed than the one in your guide,

it seems like there are 3-4 different ones on poe trade, that range in price, which is best?

I've been leveling as Ele Split Arrow and been going smooth, using barrage for bosses(less smooth).

I tried to finally switch over to wands at level 67.
But the dmg was lacking extremely, might be the choice of wands no idea.


Wand 1: 46% Spell Damage / 28-56 Fire & 4-91 Light / 10% Attack Speed / 21% Crit chance / 101 Acc

Wand 2: 23% Spell Damage / 14-29 Fire & 2-59 Light / 14% Attack Speed / 14% Crit chance

Tooltip'd around 2.5-3k. (Killed stuff A LOT slower)

While using Split Arrow, i tooltip 10k.
So it must be my choice in wands right?

Think my profile is open, if you want to take a look at something.
Currently equipped is bow/quiver.

Herald of Ice works way better with curse on hit than Herald of Thunder.

You want the version that adds lightning dmg to your attacks.

If you get surrounded, change your playstyle

Herald of Ice for better Aoe Clear

Go buy added lightning to attacks or ele pen vinktar

You gotta invest more into your char. than what you wear atm.
Like, the stuff you wear is super budget, go buy thunderfist for example.

You need to follow the build or the guidelines posted throughout the topic.

If u check my gear, Im level 76 and ripping through t4 maps facetanking most bosses and they die rather quick.

75% evade
almost max dodge with vaal aura
super fast

this build is super fun, things die so quick My pc can hardly handle it lol

Thoughts on this wand?
