Bro, the right one would be the one with added to attack's and nothing else.

You don't need the legacy vinktar, i had no issue in legacy leage and no issue here in abyss, neither do other's.
For those who are simming Rare wands as DPS increases over Piscators... you really need to look into Elemental damage Abyss jewels. Your build/tree/gear probably doesn't have enough of these jewels, or you are running ones with shitty mods (like life/attack speed, etc.) I see some people's builds still using OLD jewels. Those things are shit - use Abyss jewels.

Sure, a little Jewel may not seem all that great as an upgrade over a big shiny 40ex wand... but they are stupidly OP.

Let me break it down for you:

A Ring, rolled with Tier 1 Lightning to Attacks, can roll at maximum 7-72.
This is 39.5 average ele dmg.

Running a PoE search like this:
http://poe.trade/search/ahubomkomikuki

You'll find 80+ average ele dmg jewels for DIRT CHEAP (At the time of this post, I saw some 85-86 DPS ones for 12 chaos. TWELVE.)

(NOTE - If you are really rich, you can even snag 85+ DPS jewels WITH other mods (30+ flat life, I see some with 2% spell dodge which is nice, some with flat accuracy, crit mult, etc.)

Most PoE veterans understand that their ring/amulet slot contributes a big chunk to their DPS. Now, "MAYBE" a perfect rolled Opal ring with like 50%+ elemental to attacks, a T1 flat Lightning, and a T1 flat Cold/Fire will come CLOSE to one of these jewels... but only maybe.

So now imagine you can get anywhere from 4-8 of these jewels pretty easily, without going to ham on your skill tree/gear. Each one is like adding an extra ring to your build.

(Obviously, your ring can provide more defensive stats... life, resists, etc. - but I am talking from a pure DPS perspective, this comparison is just that... a generic comparison. Don't underestimate what a single Abyss jewel can do.)

Now, using a Piscator, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE GEMS RECEIVE THE 115% ELEMENTAL DAMAGE BONUS. And your rings. And your necklace.

How can a rare wand compare? It really can't. Save your 40ex + mirrors and get a 2c Piscator - if you are rich, get a Corrupted with Culling Strikes version and you are set all league.

My build currently has 3 Abyss jewels on my tree, 1 in my belt, and 2 in my glove (Tombfist). That's 6 total. I am honestly going to go home later and see if any nodes are worth dropping to pick up more jewel sockets... they are really OP with Piscator. If I was willing to sacrifice more defense, I would even consider dropping Atziri boots for Bubonic Plague for 2 more sockets, more damage, and some cool walking corpse explosions.

This is what i am trying to say! OP just leaves all the original stuff in his post.

The skill tree says 3.1 but it is not 3.1. It is 3.0 and doesnt take into account the new abyss jewels. I am just tryign to make sure people dont spend exalts when they dont have to. Like i did. Get more jewel slots on tree, dump some of the damage nodes or whatever and get abyss jewels.

There is a link for jewels that all do massive increase in dps. the more flat elemental you do the better.

I do have a question: Is there any way to keep my movement speed over 200? I Use POB and if i get the vinktar and dying sun . move speed goes to under 170% =(

Feels like a snail! What about if i use wise oak ? I got lucky and balanced all resists at 85%

What perfect wand is better the Ele pen one or the 38 crit multi/chance wand.

None of those - Piscator is better if you are in Abyss league and have access to the new jewels.

Seriously? i was thinking for long term upgrade how would the mirror quality wands not outshine piscators with similar jewels?

Read the last few pages. Piscator's increases those jewels damage where as a rare wand does not.

Wander is a notoriously difficult class to play a new player. Low HP, have to dodge most things as you don't have much hp buffer, etc.

@Toma_Hawk / Wander dudes,

I've been following the guide and been playing this build as my league starter. Love the build and how one can clear packs etc. It's been hard as a starter thus far and generating currency to support the build hasn't been one of my forte's. Majority of the items is on loan and reaching out on advice on how I can possibly generate better / more currency and also to review my current tree, which nodes next and ofcourse the items I should be focussing on next. I hear of people doing over 1m dps...not sure how that is even possible, but apparently so :).

So any help and guidance on where to from here would be much appreciated. IGN (WundaKritz).

Thank you again
