Chin Sol is a good one if you are willing to stand next to bosses (see post above that talks about close range). Other options would just be any very powerful bow.

If you do this I recommend putting Blast Rain in the chest so you still have it for strong rare enemies that wont easily die to Ice Shot, like Extra life, high resists, etc.

Blast rain can't pierce and gets no benefits from pierce effects or bonuses, not to be confused with the pierce gem which does give projectile damage but it won't benefit from the gem's pierce chance.

Unless you have shots missing completely and as long as you have Spirit Void or Essence Sap you should be fine on mana.

Slivertongue is the only item that I currently know of that forces events to happen in order. You are correct that with it they will fork first then chain and then pierce, giving you the crit bonus the whole way through.

Without a Fork or Rigwald's Quills it will skip that stage and you will lose the crit bonus.

Would it be worth specing into point blank for self found since gears are not going to be anywhere near godly? I just wanted to pose that question and see what some of you think on any pros and cons of specing into point blank at all.

Looking for some input! Playing this as raider with frenzy charges and pierce instead of deadeye with slivertongue. Things are working well, currently clearing t10+ maps, uber izaro, and atziri. Looking to push it further into the endgame bosses! Working on picking up a +1 drillneck right now to swap my lioneye's glare and GMP for death's opus and hypothermia. Which skills are the best to level fast? At which level i can begin to ice shotting?

Hi, i already have level 73lvl with this build and it's a lot o fun but unfortunately i'm getting 'one-shoted' when comes to fight with any bosses. I would like to note that i have 3,5k life. Any suggestions?
