sorry guys but blast rain can stand no chance against barrage in pvp too, after first explosion barrage would teleport next to the target and deal zillion dps. whatever block you have, since barrage can afford 10 arrows, it is much easier with 10 attacks per right click tobreach block than any other skill in the game.

it is not true that its hard to aim with barrage, you just gotta find your opponents name in screen, dont move your mouse and keep right clicking-> thats called namelocking. computer perfectly aims when you namelock target, and follows wherever it goes. barrage is all about namelocking, once you namelock target you know that he is dead. with a very huge monitor screen and in big maps barrage gets even better.

also my barrage dps scaling idea was just be able to deal with talismans. and it turns out that it gives the best damage too! it works great vs any conversion talismans, since "signalfire" dps setup offers 2 different damage types with 50+ penetration. (64 fire + 49 light) whatever talisman your opponent uses, it wont help him much.

blast rain is cool and aoe, but comparing the dps values, barrage is significantly stronger. i have 120k dps in town, no auras, 10 arrows, point blank. that is simply 1.8M Dps. this is pve spec, 7.8k health with leg kaoms. i have 193k with blood rage + auras on.

i tried blast rain in pvp too, unfortunately the delay of blast rain ruins everything.
very fast targets can get away from aoe overlapping area very quickly and you end up doing only 1 initial hit per attack.
barrage is easy to outmicro but so is blast rain. if somebody gets vry close, they deal damage first, due to delay of blast rain.
besides, you can't kill heavily invested zerphi + mom builds while there is no such problem with barrage. once you CAN namelock it, it is dead.

IN a fair / ideal pvp world, CI archer would be really good. but considering the current so called "meta" of pvp, that mom + zerphi is overwhelmingly strong compared to other specs, CI shines just as an pve idea.

i think for 3v3 blast rain is way betterthan any other bow skills, since highest aoe and using a skill which is easier to micro is the king in 3v3 or 3v3 ctf.
