The event is saturday (there is a timer), it'll be 1v1 if there isn't enough participation to justify the 3v3

The purpose of the event is to get players not already playing PVP to do PVP. Letting people throw 20ex at their build while most people don't want to spend more than 10c for a fun way to kill some time is not fun for everyone. If you want 20ex++ LLD characters, there's the whole standard league for you.
