Items Im looking for: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1232835

ign: Skalpo
Good bow and vinktar ftw
They'll take my discipline mtx over my dead body. That being said have you considered using the new CoD? I was messing around in PoB and it looks like 6k hp/4k mana is fairly achievable. With that much mana skyforth's also basically makes you stun immune.

Edit: https://pastebin.com/2c5S43yT I'm thinking a tree like this maybe. Feels bad not getting alchemist though.

How good are these rings damage wise?

They did say Vaal Pact will not work with GR but I'm still unsure how Acuity or legacy vinktar will interact with it.

It's public knowledge as of the 3.0 beta leg vinktar and acuity does not interact with GR, rendering all forms of instant ES leech null and void.

Please share this "public knowledge" about legacy vinktars not working since beta, since nobody has a legacy vinktars in beta. Please do share.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but post 3.0 version of acuity could be reworded to not work with ghost reaver, and legacy vinktars would have to be retro nerfed to not work with ghost reaver...
Hi guys,

With the changes to double-dipping poison scaling and ES changes, I've started thinking of possible good performing life based builds for 3.0. I know there's still a lot of information to be released and rebalances to happen during beta, but as far as I know a life based version of this build can potentially perform extremely good on endgame content.

However, there is one thing I would like to know before going deeper in theorycrafting:

Reflect elemental damage...

I know that a 100% elemental damage build should not even consider doing ele reflect maps, and I'm fine with that.
My real concern are those random elemental reflect RARE MOBS that we hit off-screen when not paying attention. How dangerous are they? And I mean how dangerous are they when I'm NOT prepared to face them?

In other words: what happens to me when I land a fat Tornado Shot on the top of a Ele Reflect rare mob with no flasks up?
Am I going to survive assuming I have capped resists, ~7k life, all life leech nodes from duelist area and Vaal Pact and Primeval Force? (There is also a 20% reduced reflect dmg from a Pantheon god, but let's not consider it for now)

If reflect might one-shot me in those situations, do you think a Scion life based version with Elementalist and Raider ascendancies can totally save me from those risky situations?

Thank you!
Cheers
I also started goofing around with an Inquisitor type idea since Rupenus sorta gave me an idea with the life based builds. It is not exactly the same as my ES version which I stopped lvling mid way to 100 so I could evaluate a few things yet with inquisitor getting the 95% crit cap is real easy with just 4 power charges yet I attempted to run with a signal fire quiver which boosted my damage about 15k pre flask buffs, etc. and I was dead to reflect real fast with TS yet I only have 4.1k HP. The chr is only like lvl 81 yet I think getting to 5k HP the way HP are scattered all over may be about the max I can do. I am going to test first putting some ES on the build on top of the HP's to see how that may help yet I think with these low pools of viable life/es reflect will be an issue and there may not be a lot that can be done with it. That is just IMO yet we shall see. I am not doing beta. I do not have the time this time around so just testing some Standard build issues and ideas. I am thinking a hybrid HP/ES may be viable. I have played bow builds forever and this last CI version was the best and I am unsure they will ever be able to accomplish what this last version was able to do.

Also how would any legacy item or flask even be able to be evaluated in Beta? There are no legacy items for Beta's? to come up with the conclusion on what works and does not work with instant leech mechanics.

7k life, 655k per arrow effective dps vs shaper. 9 arrows inquisitor. let me know if you can improve further somehow.

lioneye's fall plays critical role for having such dps i think. also note that instruments of virtue is not active.

this setup flask, using only 1 x 6l is not the best setup for sure. thunderfist can be the answer to clear trash mobs fast since it provides 5l and inquisitor's dps is very high anyway.

254k effective dps vs shaper with death's opus. i didn't spend much time to min max this, 7k life with taste of hate, while recording "dps show off" videos i'd stay at 7k life, for personal use i'd stick to 7.5k+ life for sure.

it's crazy, it has 232k tooltip dps. with death f*cking opus.

500k doomfletch per arrow(in ideal world 10 arrows)
7k as usual, easily doable for 8k life. i dont care about making builds for people, you can use these templates to modify according to your usage & taste.

-using determination aura to get 40% phys damage reduction also.

(it's funny that doomfletch inquisitor is stronger than every possible pathfidner brood twine chars)
