[2.6] Life Elemental Lacerate/BladeFlurry Inquisitor, Great clear/Damage (Guardian/Shaper viable)
How exactly is this build "relatively tanky"? From the looks of things, we have next to no armor and around 5k life with decent gear, relying on dodge chance and general maneuverable gameplay. I guess I should eventually respec into the armor version if I want to tank a hit larger than a light feather brushing!

" You have to realize that your tooltip numbers are meaningless. Blade Flurry does not alternate attacks with your off-hand. So any DPS it shows from the off-hand is invalid. If you open an app like Path of Building you'll see Doryani's Catalyst adds somewhere around 30-40% DPS to your character. Also, Blade Flurry doesn't benefit from melee weapon range, so it doesn't matter what you use. Only AoE increases range. Here's my current gear in for comparison's sake if you want something to look at. I consider this very decent gear and a good model to go by. Also make sure your jewels are up to date. You want either 2x damage stat and 1x life, or 3x damage stat. Attack speed, crit multi, melee damage, area damage are the stats to look out for with swords/dual wielding/one handed weapons. You should have about 5 jewel sockets. Insane DPS boost. " Uh... I see Vinktar and Atziri on your flask bar... those are your anti-reflect. All I use is Atziri's Promise and I can run reflect maps relatively safely. As long as I don't hit a reflect rare too hard in a reflect map. With Vinktar you should be invulnerable. " Vaal Pact. Conveniently ignored, haha. Vaal Pact makes you virtually immortal if you have enough DPS, assuming you don't get one shot. I'm personally sitting at ~5400 life and pretty much nothing important one shots me. Anything that would one shot me should be avoidable. You have huge amounts of attack speed, so Whirling Blades should be an extremely efficient method of avoiding attacks. For example, I can stand still and facetank the Uul-Netol breachlord boss fight. I'm able to leech though all his damage. I also don't use a Vinktar, so it's not like I have super broken amounts of leech. El Psy Congroo.

Fair enough. I don't have a Doryani's yet so my leech probably isn't up to par. Thank you for the effort you put into these posts.

" You definitely don't need Doryani's to be strong and tanky with this build. You can run off of a Relentless Fury just fine. Just make sure you have powerful jewels and decent gear with a decent foil. El Psy Congroo.

Alright, i've upgraded almost every of my item. Now my EQ looks like that:
Now i do T7 maps wihotut problems, sometimes i die on harder breaths. IMO now i should aim for doryani right? Or there is still something to change? | |
" Technically Added Lightning is better than Faster Attacks if you have attack speed set now. FA is much better before you have good attack speed, but later on with good jewels, gloves, rat's nest, and a fast foil you're better off swapping out FA, since you get to 6 stages fast enough. So while saving the 100+ chaos for Doryani's you can recolor chest for Added Lightning. Or use Added Cold in the mean time. Though yeah, you're looking at getting Doryani's as a priority now. You can also setup a live search to find yourself a cheap 330+ eDPS foil, or finding one at your current eDPS (~312) with an open suffix to craft crit multi on to. El Psy Congroo.

Hey, I have the Destiny Leather body armor like you and have used over 300 Chromatic Orbs but still can't seem to get 3B, 2R, 1G. Are those socket colors rare for that chest piece since it is a dexterity based item?
| |
" Yes. Exceptionally rare. Use https://siveran.github.io/calc.html to see just how rare. On average over 2400 chromes to get that. I highly recommend something like a Belly of the Beast or something to minimize this problem. El Psy Congroo.

So I am not sure why we are taking acrobatics if all of our gear is armor? Doesn't that reduce all our armor?

With Doryanis, am I right to assume that life leech + vitality void passives are no longer needed?
