DreamFeather Spectral Throw - Clearing the game on a budget. Shaper/Uber Atziri Included.

So I just hit dual dreamfeathers @ 66. Damage is kinda underwhelming tbh; I have 15k eva w/o flasks, 44k with flasks up. With flasks up and full frenzies I get like 6k dps max and 10k w/ slower proj. Might be because I haven't got any jewels / added chaos amu/ring yet but I really don't see that covering the distance from 3.4k dps unbuffed to 10k, which is what mathil was at.

Added Chaos and good flasks go a LONG LONG way.
Drop your mana flask if you can, grab an Atziri's Promise, consider dropping your Quicksilver for a Sulphur (look a page back and I link my flasks which are good to use until Vinktar's).

Buy a Added Chaos 20/20 (16c~ in ESC)
Consider buying a Spectral Throw 20/20 and FA 20/20 as well.

Your rings/amu have really low life rolls, that should help your survivability a bit, get new ones with 60~+ life rolls, make sure there is craft space for Added Chaos Damage to Attacks, this is huge.

Get yourself 1-2 good jewels, if you can't afford the mods he says to go for instead go for %Evasion, you'll find it quite a bit cheaper but it'll do the trick to get you some damage and survivability until you can get GG Jewels.

Wither totem with proper links is HUGE on bosses. Two curses is PRETTY BIG. 43% increased Damage from PW, or a LOT of slow from Temporal Chains.

Now as for your tree.

Drop the point under Heart of Oak and get Phase Acro

Drop Point Blank node until much much later, you are gimping the shit out of your GMP damage (read the Point Blank wiki page to see why), you can be doing up to 50% LESS damage by using this. I had also grabbed it then immediately specced out when I noticed the difference in Dried Lake. This is much better whn you're at the phase where you're just bossing and your damage for trash mobs is already great.

Invest those Point Blank points towards Sentinel. Getting all of the %Res that you get from the tree makes your gearing a lot easier pre-maps as you're not going crazy to try and get overcapped.
With our tree we get 33%, you're missing 10% of that.


Personally I haven't grabbed the Phys/Chaos damage nodes yet and instead went towards the Life/Flask nodes/Resist nodes, going to pick those up 75-80.

Yes? It's easy with a good hybrid chest.

Is Hyrri's Ire Zodiac Leather also a viable option?

High evasion and dodge boost, as well as good cold flat damage

Why leather belt instead of Vanguard belt?

If this build scales damage from evasion, why do you not get very many evasion nodes on the tree?

Have you considered using Steel Spirit Viridian Jewel?
