This should probably specify "Living characters".

Why should it? Dead character are no longer in the event. The moment you die you go to standard.

I'm waiting for this event :) this looks very interesting! My target is lvl 70, also i want to make a lot of currency because of Strongboxes (Arcanist <3 <3 <3)
I think you should make that dead characters moving to standard prophecy league ;) some people maybe will try this race because of that.

Wow, this race is going to be awesome! So what build you guys are going with, I am thinking something tanky like juggernaut earthquke, or may be flame totem, was also considering tornado shot, but crafting bow is gonna be pain, also don't know if will be able to survive with it :D

This event looks awesome, definitely looking forward to it. I think the reward points per racing hours for this event are really low though. Given the added difficulty of the combined flashback modifiers something like boss kill reward points for every player would be a nice reward.

I'm going to try SRS totems ;) it can be interesting, also totems are very safe ^^

I really wish I could participate in this race. Unfortunately, it's during the one weekend, during the race season, when I won't have access to my computer. I hope we get more solo self-found races before too long.

How am I just now finding out about this? Perfect race to practice leveling for the new leagues in this needs some hype.

@GGG please improve gem availability for classes for these self found races, many builds are not even possible due to this limit.
I was thinking of playing storm call elementalist for this race, but less duration is not available to witch from vendors, how am I suppose to get the gem for self found race?
Now I am forced to play Templar, cause he has most gem availability (for casters).

Since their introduction to the game, Forsaken Masters have been kept out of race season events. This is the first long duration event(excluding boss kills) since before Season 9, and is likely the first event where this would be a question. So, will Masters be enabled in this event?

In the pre-announcement for Season 9 this was posted, "Masters/missions will likely be disabled in most types of races." Conformation on the state of Masters being enabled or disabled for this event would be greatly appreciated.
